If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Speedy deletion nomination of Ruben Cimet Lerer
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ruben Cimet Lerer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 02:38, 19 August 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because
- it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the company, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what hey claims or interviewing his management. If you add references, they need to be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting
- it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Your article was an unsourced opinion piece/review which was light on facts and heavy on unsourced claims or your personal views such as until he found his own esthetic voice in the plasticity of wood. In this medium, he focused on different geometric forms, exploring their interior spaces as well as their exterior possibilities, thereby creating multiple architectural forms. And, prior to the post-modern minimalism of the 1970s which includes a deep intellectualism in artistic planning, he incorporated kinetic elements into some of his works. He thus invited observers to assume an active role in the work, allowing them to take part in a constant re-creation of the piece. Perhaps influenced by the natural elements that surrounded him, he was able to incorporate organic motifs into his abstract sculptures, combining his own esthetics and plasticity with his sui generis sculptural poetry.
- the article was created in a single edit without wikilinks or references, and looks as if was copied from an unknown and possibly copyrighted source. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
You have a conflict of interest when editing this article, and you must declare it. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your father is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:49, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
- It's obvious that you haven't looked at any other wikipedia biographies or read any of our guidance on how to edit. I suggest that you look at biographies such as Pamela C. Rasmussen to get an idea of layout and referencing. You don't have to use the fancy reference templates, just <ref>[url description]</ref> for web refs or <ref>[publication details inc page numbers]</ref> for books etc will do.
