Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! [edit]Hello, Adil Rafeeque. This is your user talk page; the purpose of this page is notification and communication with other Wikipedia editors. It is not a workspace for articles in progress or for self-promotion. Please use your user sandbox or the draft article space to practice editing or to create new articles. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:28, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your user page may not meet Wikipedia's user page guidelines. It is intended for basic information about yourself, your interests and goals as they relate to editing Wikipedia, as well as disclosures of conflicts of interest and paid editing. Although a lot of freedom is allowed in personalizing your user page, it is not:
- an encyclopedia article (and should not be styled to look like one)
- a workspace for a draft article
- a personal website, blog, or social media site
- a space for self-promotion or other advertising
- a CV, resumé or lengthy autobiography
The user page guidelines have additional information on what is and what is not considered acceptable content. Please use your user sandbox or the draft article space to practice editing or to create new articles. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:30, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Hello, Adil Rafeeque. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia—the world's largest free content encyclopedia.
A page you ceated User:Adil Rafeeque has been deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion—promotional content. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. A common assumption is that the prohibition against promotional editing applies only to businesses or organizations. It applies to any topic, including a person, a non-commercial organization, a point of view, etc. Persistent posters of promotional content may be blocked from editing. Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, and from a neutral perspective, with information from independent sources with a reputation for fact checking. Subjects must meet inclusion requirements. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thanks,

Hello Adil Rafeeque. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to User:Adil Rafeeque, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Adil Rafeeque. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Adil Rafeeque|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:24, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising, as you did at User:Adil Rafeeque. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:25, 24 September 2024 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on User:Adil Rafeeque, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. (See section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because it is just created and the user editing and clearing the error and trying to follow the guidelines. Blocked indefinitely

[edit]Adil Rafeeque (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I didn't know that I couldn't even describe myself on my user page. I added links on my user page, and then a warning came up, so I removed all the links but still got blocked. I was new here and had only edited 12 articles. Now I realize it was a mistake, and I won’t make the same mistake again.
Decline reason:
You claim you've only edited 12 articles. In fact, you've edited 3, not twelve. Almost all your time was spent promoting yourself as a digital marketer and SEO. Frankly, we don't need any digital marketers or SEO specialists promoting themselves. Yamla (talk) 10:52, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Requesting again
[edit]Adil Rafeeque (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
This is a second request, as I cannot reply to the first one that was declined by Yamla. First, I didn’t intend any promotion; I added a link and some information about myself on my user page. After receiving the warning, I understood that I couldn’t add links, so I removed them. But I don’t see how simply describing myself without links could be considered a promotion. I’ve contributed by editing 12 articles on Wikipedia, and I’m aware I made three edits on my user page. I’ve also joined other communities to improve my writing skills and learn more about various topics. If my goal were promotion, I would have added links or similar content to articles rather than my user page. I was on the Google Search Central help community and didn’t notice I was banned here on Wikipedia. I came back to check in and discovered I’d been banned, likely the same day I made my 12 contributions. If possible, please consider unblocking this account since I've already contributed here. If not, I’ve created another account, though it means I can't use this username and will have to start from scratch. Thank you for your consideration.
Decline reason:
Declining as you admit you are attempting to evade the block. You personally are blocked, not just the account. You are not permitted to edit under any account or IP until this block is removed. 331dot (talk) 15:57, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
