6teen All Characters
Just a friendly note about 6teen All Characters. There was already an existing article at List of characters on 6teen, so I changed yours to redirect there. --Fabrictramp | talk to me 17:42, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Warnings
Hey, when you're doing warnings, use this layout:
== {{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}} == {{subst:uw-v1|ARTICLE NAME HERE|subst=subst:}} ~~~~
adding the name of the article at "ARTICLE NAME HERE".
If there is already a warning for the section == November 2024 ==
, use {{uw-v2}}
instead of {{uw-v1}}
. Similiarly, if there are two warnings, use {{uw-v3}}
. If there are three warnings, use {{uw-v4}}
. If there are four warnings, report to WP:AIV. —MC10 (T•C•GB•L•EM) 01:53, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Cincinnati. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Welcome message
Hi, I've noticed that you posted some welcome messages recently. Probably you didn't realize it but you keep posting them on the user page instead of on the talk page, as it should be. In this case, the user won't get the "you have new messages" message. --Iohannes Animosus (talk) 21:33, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
- I came here to caution you against the same thing, as you did here. Unless you have VERY good reason, you should never edit another editors userpage. WuhWuzDat 21:45, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Confused
Hi. Why did you issue me with a warning for explaining a misunderstanding? If you check, you will find that the information I was trying to give was correct, as detailed here:
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bummer#Noun_3
So I get a warning from the other guy because he can't check his facts first, and then a warning from you because you can't be bothered to either. Doesn't seem very fair. Clicriffhard (talk) 23:48, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- Can you remove it? Sorry. RuneScape Adventure 23:51, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Your welcome template
Your welcome template doesn't work. See this to see why. —MC10 (T•C•GB•L•EM) 17:44, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- How does it not work? RuneScape Adventure Sign! 17:48, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- The reasons why:
- The welcomed user's username doesn't show up.
- Your signature doesn't show up where it should in the actual template.
- There's the "User Talk..." stuff on the top, plus the border, that shouldn't be shown on the welcomed user's talk page.

- I saw what you just did with your welcome template. As I said, it should be the exact time you added the welcome template, not when you edited the welcome template. What you just did would show the time you added the time onto the welcome template itself, not when you welcomed the user. Please fix this. Thanks. —MC10 (T•C•GB•L•EM) 18:00, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- Your "USERNAME" thing doesn't work also. For the contribs, it'll just break the link. And the welcomed user would just be called "USERNAME". —MC10 (T•C•GB•L•EM) 18:04, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- How should I get rid of the link that says your contributions and I want it so I can write the username in the space that says USERNAME? Can you edit it on the test welcome page you created and I'll add the signature. RuneScape Adventure Sign! 18:06, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Ruffa and Ai Undid?
I receive a message that my recent edit was reverted because its unconstructive? All the information I've provided is true. I've even added a link as a source of information. I've also added a comment on what I did. If you don't believe that there has been 165 episodes of Ruffa and Ai or Pooh is one of their co-host, you can try watching the show for at least a week. I also believe that the article requires cleanup since it bare has anything in it. What would the purpose of creating that article if it will contain nothing but brief data? Wikipedia is not a TV Guide and detailed information regarding the show must be filled out or delete it. 112.201.135.217 (talk) 08:46, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Everyone knows the even commercial thing and also how do you even know how many episodes there are? RuneScape Adventure Sign! 15:14, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Were you the one who added the current episode count? If yes, how did you even know how many episodes there are? If not, who do you think added it there or shouldn't you also remove the current episode count since you cannot verify it yourself? In any case, you can go to the studio and ask yourself if your really not sure. Reverted it back to the source of dispute and added a dispute tag. If unresolved, will consider submitting for deletion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.201.178.195 (talk) 05:01, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Xbox 360, you will be blocked from editing. Please stop adding biased, non-neutral content. GSK (talk ● evidence) 02:03, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry I thought it was useful. And also how do you add a reference because the references are bunched into 1 writing and I can add one can you help me? Add: http://www.engadget.com/2008/05/13/microsoft-says-no-new-xbox-360s-in-2009/ . Thanks! RuneScape Adventure Sign! 02:06, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not adding content for you. You can add references using the <ref> </ref> tags. Place the URL inside of the tags, and the tags at the end of your addition. Also, please remain neutral when adding content. Don't add things like "Microsoft's just playing coy to prevent a little bit of Osborne effect from creeping in during their heated battle with PlayStation3." Also, read the manual of style. -- GSK (talk ● evidence) 02:08, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- Do you add it in the beginning and the end of the reference? Thanks for the manual of style, I learned a lesson. RuneScape Adventure Sign! 02:11, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- You would add it in the following format: And this is the end of what I am adding.<ref>URL is placed here</ref> -- GSK (talk ● evidence) 02:13, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- It doesn't work right. Go to edit this page to see the details, something is wrong? Do you do this: <ref> http://www.engadget.com/2008/05/13/microsoft-says-no-new-xbox-360s-in-2009/ </ref> ?
- You add it at the very end of what you are adding. So, after you add your content to the article, add the REF tag right after the period. -- GSK (talk ● evidence) 02:23, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

- I have a few words for you:
Microsoft is saying no new Xbox 360s in 2009 anymore because a new smaller Xbox 360 is coming out. It might have a shorter life than the red-ringing console. But the Microsoft representives says: "While we don't normally comment on rumors like this, we can tell you that we have no plans to release a new console in 2009." Microsoft's just playing coy to prevent a little bit of Osborne effect from creeping in during their heated battle with PlayStation3
- Original:
Sounds like that rumor about a new, smaller Xbox 360 coming next year might have a shorter life than a red-ringing console. Specifying the release of "slimmed down SKU in 2009", Microsoft representative let us know today that "While we don't normally comment on rumors like this, we can tell you that we have no plans to release a new console in 2009". Yep, rumor assassinated, just like that. Of course, there still exists the possibility that Microsoft's just playing coy to prevent a little bit of Osborne effect from creeping in during their heated battle with the PS3 -- but they did go out of their way to directly comment on the rumor, so take it as you will.

Unblock Request
Blocking admin: Brandon, Block reason: Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/MC10
ActivExpression (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I just got blocked for no reason. User:MC10 doesn't have sockpuppets and neither do I. User:MC10 is my big brother and he is even more experienced than I am. It's my little brother User:Madden NFL 21, User:Wikisodia, User:Samen1234567890, User:HaloGod144424, and all the User:Alasto Light user accounts who is doing all the disruptive edits and the sockpuppets. He has done tons of disruptive edits. He has tons of sockpuppets and he doesn't admit it. I've been reverting tons of edits and I only have 2 disruptive edits because I didn't read what the other users wrote. I only have User:Beaver Lake Bulldogs as my backup account. My little brother doesn't know how to edit so I just showed him the awards and then he somehow found out how to edit so he copied a admin award and put it on User:Madden NFL 21's talk page with User:HaloGod144424's account so he can have an award. MC10 has been showing me a lot of things and I have learned a lot. I am like a standard wikipedia user that still needs lots to learn. Can I have an unblock request because my brother is the one who created the accounts and MC10 and I didn't do anything. I don't use edit summaries sometimes because I have tons of my pages to correct so it takes more time, but otherwise I do use edit summaries, but my little brother just writes sorry if he has done something wrong. MC10 uses edit summary all the time and I think it is the right thing to do. I will try to do edit summaries all the time. I want to use Huggle so I can revert vandalism once again. Also, MC10 and I both when we get warnings, we listen to it, but my little brother doesn't listen to the warnings and keeps doing unconstructive edits. Note: None of the accounts are User:MC10's or mine except my own and my backup account.
Decline reason:
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Adoption and stuff
Hello RuneScape Adventure, I am a bit busy to adopt at present, but I can give some helpful advice. First of all, is there a subject you are especially interested in writing about? We have over 3000000 articles but there are stacks of them that are still stubs (hit 'random' a few times and see what turns up). If all you are doing is new page patrolling and reverting vandals you may get burnt out pretty quickly. Even more of a problem than small articles, are unreferenced articles. If you have some books, it is a great idea to try and reference some topics.
Furthermore, wikipedia is about collaborative editing and us all helping each other by fixing each others' mistakes and helping improve articles together. This idea spurs Good Articles and Did You know. These are good to wear as badges on your userpage - have a look at mine :)
I find actually working up a sweat and writing makes you more considerate when judging other people's material. Casliber (talk · contribs) 05:03, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Bots
It depends how automatic you want it to be. Most of my bot edits (User:SmackBot) are made with WP:AWB, and indeed most of my manual ones are too. This needs intervention every time it is run in robot mode, and every edit in manual mode. You will need approval to run it, and you have to be more careful than you think. I would suggest you visit the pages around WP:BOT and look at the tasks that are being requested and approved/denied at WP:BRFA. If you have a good idea you can suggest it at WP:BOTREQ and someone might implement it if it gets consensus. Rich Farmbrough, 19:34, 17 October 2009 (UTC).

RSA23, I'm not sure why you suggest that warning vandals is inappropriate, or why you felt it necessary to look at a comment I made on the user page of an IP address in January (which, you say, is six months after you began editing), but for the record I have not -- and cannot -- ban anyone.
