Would have any reference for that article? Otherwise, it may be deleted. Tommy2010 [message] 12:31, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
The article Aniket Chattopadhaya has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. The-Pope (talk) 12:04, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of R. P. Techvision India Private Limited
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on R. P. Techvision India Private Limited, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Terrillja talk 06:04, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Terrillja talk 06:14, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Terrillja talk 07:03, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
This is your last warning; the next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Terrillja talk 09:32, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. In National Film Award for Best Children's Film, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Bengali (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Ritwik Ghatak articles
[edit]I have noticed your recent works in Ritwik Ghatak articles. Thanks for your edits. I feel some articles on Ritwik Ghatak's films (see the articles on his feature films) does not have enough details. I have been working in Wikipedia mainly on his notable documentary works. Can you help to expand or add more details in articles like Jukti Takko Goppo, Nagarik etc? Thanks! --Tito Dutta (Send me a message) 12:02, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
Camel-case
[edit]Hello, and thanks for your contributions to wikipedia.
I'd just like to point out that we avoid camel-case here. See MOS:CAPS. Words like film, producer, sister and cancer, and expressions like "to be released", "in alphabetical order", "celebrating 50 years", etc, should not be capitalized (unless of course when first in a sentence), as they are not proper nouns. If you can avoid that too, there will be fewer corrections.
Thanks.

- Please understand his blog can not be a reliable source! It is his blog, he can claim anything in his blog! See WP:RS. Most of the references you have added there are unreliable, since Paul himself wrote those for Washington Bangla Radio. But, I have ignored that and have not added tag or removed that. Few points
[edit]- Only admins can protect pages, adding PP template does not protect a page.
- Justport is an autoconfirmed user, semi-protection can not stop him.
- I have already submitted many reports in different noticeboards against vandalism in these Dev, Jeet etc films. Note, I have given you notices but never reported against you, because your edits are over all constructive and helpful. But, these editors are just spamming. There are many reports, you can see one: Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive772#Newly_released_Bengali_commercial_.28masala.29_films.
- I have a hunch, a number of accounts are WP:SOCK, that means one user is editing from all those account. If you can guess who might be whose sock, please inform, I'll try to teach them a lesson.
- Did Target Kolkata release in 2012? Gomolo says it'll release in this January.

Vandalism
[edit]Do you really want to call my edit vandalism? You historically have a problem editing the Arin Paul article, and we have had disputes before over your edits, but misusing the label vandalism, particularly when directed at experienced editors, is generally construed as either a personal attack or incompetence. Which is it?--Bbb23 (talk) 12:27, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- Abgoswami does not talk! The film has actually released (internet release), but may not have encyclopedic value without secondary RS. This edit will speak a lot (see first suggestion in the section just above). He has a habit of overusing the term "vandalism", this edit summary was a funny one (though I think that edit was very much nonconstructive)! They can use terms like "nonconstructive", "unhelpful", "unsourced", "incorrect" etc too with short details! --Tito Dutta (contact) 18:38, 13 May 2013 (UTC)

Information about Baro Eka Lage
[edit]I wished to make an article on the Bengali film Baro Eka Lage starring Hiran Chatterjee. According to Gomolo (http://www.gomolo.com/baro-eka-lage-movie/45283), the film released on May 3, 2013. Following that, List of Bengali films of 2013 also says that the film released on May 3, 2013. But the fact is that, I didn't find another single source stating this fact. Even there is no mention of the film in the daily newspapers. On the other hand, "this page". says that Baro Eka Lage is an upcoming film. What to do? Any idea? Speedy deletion nomination of Bombay Bengalis
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Bombay Bengalis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. FITINDIA (talk) 12:06, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Aehsaas should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aehsaas .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Abgoswami. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Abgoswami|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. ~ Winged BladesGodric 12:34, 14 March 2018 (UTC)

The file File:Saswata-Chatterjee.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
