John Diman moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, John Diman, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:John Diman

[edit]

Hello, Aavindraa. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "John Diman".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 23:43, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up. Can you help me to understand why the article was removed? It is not complete, but isn't that the idea of having "stub"-class articles? John Diman appears in multiple articles and I thought it would be helpful to have a page for him. Thanks. Avindratalk 18:38, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed page for S.B. Keshava Swami

[edit]

Hare Krishna!

I came to notice you have contributed towards a lot of Hinduism-related articles on Wikipedia. I am a well-wisher of His Holiness S.B. Keshava Swami, and was eagerly hoping he gets a Wikipedia page soon. With all his reach and work, I think he is super notable, more than enough to merit his own Wikipedia page.

He is doing some amazing work too, so a Wikipedia page would also help those who search about him learn more and better.

I was wondering if someone like you could create S.B. Keshava Swami's Wikipedia page? It would be a great service and impactful too. I am a new user, so thought I would humbly write to someone more experienced and request them to do it.

I know there is a team of volunteers who look after his website. Maybe if you contacted them, they would also be able to give you lots of references and links which they have collected over time. I have previously been in touch with them and they are quite good. Their email address can be found on the website. Thank you for considering my request. Hare Krishna! FreedomAndHappiness (talk) 23:58, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@FreedomAndHappiness: Hey, I'm happy to assist here. The first roadblock is establishing notability. On Wikipedia, this means having multiple secondary sources to corroborate the article. Not only that, but the sources must be reliable. Meanwhile, you can work on the article as a WP:DRAFT without worry of deletion, and promote it to regular article space when its ready. Additionally, the article title should be simply Keshava Swami: i.e., eliminate the S.B./Svayam Bhagavan honorific. Let me know how I can assist. Avindratalk 20:02, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
