Trini
[edit]Nice to meet another Trini here. Hope you're enjoying it. If there's anything I can help you with, let me know. Guettarda (talk) 03:05, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Nah, I'm not in Trinidad. Been back and forth a bit since I started grad school in 1994, but I've been in the States the last 6 years. And yes, I discovered Buhwamoder thanks to Facebook. Guettarda (talk) 03:53, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Lift
[edit]I removed the following entry...
- Lift, an unreleased 1996 Radiohead song
...from the Lift disambiguation page because it conflicts with WP:DABSTYLE which says "Include related subject articles only if the term in question is actually described on the target article".
There's no mention of "Lift" on the Radiohead page.
I removed it three times with the following edit summaries:
[1] Undid revision 390176334 by Aavindraa - Include related subject articles only if the term in question is actually described on the target article
[2] Undid revision 394462734 by Aavindraa (talk) - please see WP:DABSTYLE - Include related subject articles only if the term in question...
[3] Undid revision 394544891 by Aavindraa (talk) - please see User talk:Aavindraa#Lift - thanks
If you think the entry should not be removed, please can you explain why either here or on the Talk:Lift page. Thanks. 86.147.206.66 (talk) 10:46, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
- Funny that you removed it 3 times, and now it should remain permanently there, as the song has it's own dedicated page. Avindratalk / contribs 17:29, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
Signature
[edit]Hi. Please please reduce the amount of code in your signature. See WP:Signatures for our guidelines, and detailed explanations of why large signatures are a problem. It should be at most 255 characters, and yours is currently 399 characters long (which takes up 3 entire lines in the editing box). Thanks! -- Quiddity (talk) 20:33, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

The screenshots
[edit]Hello there, I've just seen your update on the picture of the CCleaner, first thanks for the update and then would you please tell me which program do you use to take screenshots? Cause I found your uploads very smoothly, Thanks! Nima1024 (talk) 21:12, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
- The program is called Window Clippings. Avindratalk / contribs 22:00, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Yes, I am very happy indeed. For the record, the image is not "my version" in any sense other than its having been uploaded by me. It is the version of the cover included with the album when downloaded. In future, please observe Wikipedia:Civility and refrain from telling other users to "go away". I was not remotely rude to you and there was no need to respond in that manner. Thanks. –CapitalLetterBeginning (talk) 23:22, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Controversial topic area alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here.
