A tag has been placed on Rohini Sindhuri, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I removed the nomination, as the deletion log appears to be empty. Paradoctor (talk) 18:05, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Rohini Sindhuri

[edit]

Hi, I'm Rosguill. Aatoturk, thanks for creating Rohini Sindhuri!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. It is unclear if the article meets Wikipedia's notability guideline for biographies (see also: WP:ONEEVENT). The easiest way to improve the article and protect it from being nominated for deletion is to provide citations to in-depth coverage in independent, reliable, secondary sources that is not predominantly about Sindhuri's legal battle against the government.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

@Rosguill: I'll add a reference, let me know is that quite sufficient.Aatoturk (talk) 03:51, 10 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Page : Vokkaliga

[edit]

Please restrain from over generalising facts. Newspaper articles are not very accurate. They should be used as supplement. Especially when another user raises doubt or doesn't agree, many sources have to reflect the same thing.

While SEBC data says Vokkaliga are economically backward, how can you generalise their economic condition? And Gowda as a secular title is different from a caste title. I will also edit the Gowda surname wikipedia page with necessary citations.

I have allowed your edits, where you have properly refined the reservation status of the community. Please refrain from posting sensational things on wikipedia. Every caste or kin would do the same on their pages. Keep the discussion healthy. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gksampath (talkcontribs) 18:12, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Better than your first attempt; still, see WP:LEAD: the lead summarizes the article; when you've got new info, first add it to the article. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 18:47, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
