On Saginaw_High_School_(Texas)
I fail to see why my recent addition (I have since logged in) of this schools rivalry with Boswell High School constitutes vandalism. At the very least it is unnecessary information. On the same note, I fail to see why so much unnecessary information seems to be otherwise acceptable to leave on this Schools Wikipedia page. In particular, the listings of the Theater officers and the programs' past shows seem unnecessary. Also, some of the information provided under the Spirit of Saginaw Band seems out of place, especially the listings of the bands current status (such as the current Drum Majors). I do not mean to word this so as to seem confrontational, I am just trying to understand what edits would be acceptable, as this page is in need of changes (As apparent by the notice for deletion).Unsigned comment by Cheezewheel
- Careful now, User:ARUNKUMAR P.R, I think this was a reasonable edit also. Would be great if there was a reference for it though (student newspaper, school web site, etc.) -- Samir 06:20, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
If its authentic and historic rivalry, then Iam sorry for my reversion.Although, it will be desirable to provide a citation on that point. arunkumarcheckmate me 06:32, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, there's no need to apologize, I can see why you reverted it as the IP added much superfluous information (names of students in the theatre club, etc) that you rightly reverted. -- Samir 06:36, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
vandalism ??
User:Chace Watson contributes puzzle me. Making a significant contribution to Corbin Bleu but with occasionally edits that are undone with vandal warning and puzzling user page edits some months ago [1] Earlypsychosis (talk) 08:10, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Kumar have you ever read Shulamith Firestone?
She absolutley affirms that Freud's notion of penis envy is completely wrong in its literal interpretation but spot on if we replace "penis" with "womb" -- men a profoundly jealous of women because women make human beings and men make jizz...nothing.....I'm not going to sit around editing wikipedia -- but I do not understand the notion that frequent editors have better information. Quite the opposite is usually true. 17:41, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
New York Television Festival
Thought you'd catch the admins sleeping on that one, huh? --Glantrischmozzle (talk) 02:32, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
- Apologies accepted. I did not see your discussion with Graham87 until just now, and know you meant no harm. I had no part in the deleted article, which, if I recall (it was several weeks ago) from the AfD discussion or speedy rationale was a copyvio. I had been to the first night of the 2009 NYTVF, and thought that it ought to have an article. I took care to use original writing, but not original research. No hard feelings, here, and apologies for being rude above. --Glantrischmozzle (talk) 02:50, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Malayali
Just added things as asked in Malayali. The sound file is cool :) —Gyopi (talk) 08:23, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Is the definition "people, who speak Malayalam, originating from the Indian state of Kerala" okay? A few of them are in Karnataka or Tamil Nadu, aren't they? I moved the old version of my talk page to Archive 1. Thanks for reminding me.—Gyopi (talk) 12:43, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
You're welcome :) Thank *you* for the sound file! —Gyopi (talk) 11:49, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Sorry
Sorry, I reverted it before I saw who you were - apologies. I try never to revert established users. I should have undone and explained here. Best wishes, RobertG ♬ talk 08:58, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for warning that ip :D He was blocked for 31 hours hours by an admin for edit warring .I like that users insults ,besides no one in IRL knows that I'm active on wp :D .I've an exam this Monday , I really have to start studying ,Thanks--NotedGrant Talk 13:58, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
ARUN,
why are you and Chris quashing perfectly good articles that are well sourced and that provide value? My article on Eli Whitney Students has been deleted twice now with little reason. I am getting tired of this wikipedia elitism attitude. You are NOT in control of information! Stop censoring something without legitimate reasons. The article is not my attempt to get on a "soapbox" nor is it a "copyright infringement". I want you to re-review the article please and provide me with a better reason or I will take this to higher ups. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Milkbaba (talk • contribs) 06:10, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Quick thought: while obviously speedy-able, Revolution of 1623 was not G1. Remember that G1 "does not include poor writing, vandalism, material not in English, badly translated material, hoaxes, etc." :-) I deleted it under G3, vandalism. It's not a big deal, but I figured that NPPers would want constructive feedback on their tagging. Kind regards, —Ed (talk • majestic titan) 07:08, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for correcting me.That article was so confusing that I just considered it as some gibberish/non meaningful text.Again thanks for the clarification.. :) arunkumarcheckmate me 07:17, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) No problem—just remember that anything readable, even if it is inane, crazy or just plain weird, is not G1. ;-) Regards, —Ed (talk • majestic titan) 07:18, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

அரிச்சந்திரன் கோவில்
Look at this article அரிச்சந்திரன் கோவில்.This article is written in Tamil language. So I have nominated it for deletion under A2.But as I know to read Tamil, the article seems to be promoting some charitable trust/temple.So which deletion tag may be appropriate here??? arunkumarcheckmate me 07:38, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- Here is where we might run into problems. :-) Two questions: is the temple notable on the enwiki? And is there a Tamil Wikipedia? —Ed (talk • majestic titan) 07:40, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Yes.There is Tamil Wikipedia. The temple might be notable but to be genuine to English Wikipedia, the article must be in English. So if the author of the article can translate the article to English, then I guess the problem is solved... arunkumarcheckmate me 07:46, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- If it is notable, my suggestion is to transwiki the article to the Tamil wiki and just convert the article here to a stub. —Ed (talk • majestic titan) 07:49, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
I just searched Tamil Wikipedia and did not find this article there. I think its not notable as Tamil Wikipedia does not mention it... arunkumarcheckmate me 08:01, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- Well, the Tamil Wikipedia has only ~20,000 articles, so don't use that as a benchmark. :-) If it isn't covered in any reliable Tamil sources, I think it's safe to A7 it. Regards, —Ed (talk • majestic titan) 08:05, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
I searched Google on the topic here.Got six hits but none of them corresponding to the topic Harishchandran Koil/Kovil.So Iam placing A7 tag on the article... arunkumarcheckmate me 08:16, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- Okay. Good work! :-) —Ed (talk • majestic titan) 08:17, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
