[edit]

No, you added an external link as part of the content. It links to the site itself, not sister project site so is unencyclopedic. The links to the owners user pages were removed for exactly the same reason. A citation is already provided anyway.--Otterathome (talk) 14:18, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you are currently blocked from creating an account, and cannot create one elsewhere in the foreseeable future, you may follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Request an account to request that volunteers create your username for you. Please use an email address issued to you by your ISP, school or organization so that we may verify that you are a legitimate user on this network. Unblock request

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

64.72.65.130 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I was told this ban would expire on the 20th of May (today) around 1 O'clock. I come on at 1:43 local time, and find that my band has been extended (to tomorrow) without any contributions since the 13th of May. I want to know why this ban was expanded, and if for no reason, than I would perfer for the ban to be ended. Thank you.

Decline reason:

See Special:Contributions/64.72.65.130 and note the four disruptive edits between Talk:2008 Summer Olympics‎ and Talk:Gravitation‎ after your first three hour block expired. They are why this IP address is now blocked for a month. These blocks are only going to get longer and longer if the network administrator at your end doesn't take responsibility for the users on your network and puts an end to these shenanigans. --  Netsnipe   ►  17:57, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

64.72.65.130 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Before I say another word, I want to make it clear that I am requesting an admin OTHER THAN Netsnipe to review this block. While I am not afraid to admit that some fool using this IP went on a vandal spree, owing to the excellent tools Wikipedia has, all of those edits were almost instantly reverted, and in the scheme of things, how much damage was actually done? I am requesting to be unblocked because, simply, I see no point in a month-long ban for the action of one person, actions that, as I mentioned, were undone within seconds. And DON'T give me the "Just follow the procedure to get an accoung" brushoff. I will make it clear I do not want an account, and I see no reason as to why I should be required to. And if I may throw in a side note, for some obscene reason, my block was extended from June 12 to June 13, would anyone care to explain why?

Decline reason:

I'm sorry - I can see that you're a good faith user trying to help here, but there's no way I can unblock this. We simply don't know who's behind this IP address at any given time. I can see you don't want to register an account - the reason you're required to is because the IP address that you're using has been vandalising this encyclopaedia. I'm really very sorry, but I don't think there's anything more we can do — Alex Muller 12:39, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
