Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Interstate 90 in Montana does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Do not revert without giving an adequate explanation SounderBruce 06:52, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

2020–21 Wessex Football League moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, 2020–21 Wessex Football League, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Accra and Lilongwe
[edit]Despite clearly stating in by edits about the reason why I reverted your edits in both Accra and Lilongwe, you still continue to revert my edits. It is misleading to readers to state that the sources for Deutscher Wetterdienst and Meteo Climat are in English when the only languages for Deutscher Wetterdienst and Meteo Climat are German and French respectively. I was also the editor who added these sources in the first place to those articles and have added to other city articles so I am familiar with those sources.
Using the Deutscher Wetterdienst source as an example, they have text such as Lufttemperatur, Mittl. Monats-/Jahressumme, Mittl. Tagesmittel, and Jahr. No English Text exists so you cannot claim the source to be in English if all of the words are in German (using a translator does not mean the text is in English). For the Meteo Climat Source (webpage does take a while to load), all the text is in French (e.g. Aller la station Lilongwe (Records, Moyennes), chaud, froid, etc.). No English word exists. National varieties of English
[edit]Hello. In a recent edit to the page Metrication in Canada, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 20:13, 8 October 2021 (UTC)
- Canadian English uses meter, liter, center etc. Also Australian English uses -er. Only British English uses -re. --40bus (talk) 06:14, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on 40bus/UEFA Champions League requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. City propers over 10 million
[edit]There are very few non-NYC metropolitan areas over 10 million and unlike [[unitary state]]s the national government can't force municipalities to fuse. In fact according to the federal constitution to move a state border requires the federal government and both states involved to agree. New Jersey would lose a lot of tax base and NYC would have to figure out municipal services etc it's almost impossible (city propers can't cross state lines in this country). New Jersey's a different state cause in 1664 AD the English King took New Netherlands from the Dutch, let the Duke of York have it and he gifted the Jersey part to a friend and now ex-debtor (two different men). If he didn't create the New Jersey colony NYC would probably have over 10 million people today. Sagittarian Milky Way (talk) 00:44, 11 January 2024 (UTC)

Flag of Northern Ireland
[edit]There is no longer a Flag of Northern Ireland, therefore the Union Jack or no flag should be used. The old flag is only used in sports or by a minority of the Northern Irish population. DankJae 12:31, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- If NI has its own parliament, why it does not have official flag? England does not have a parliament, but it has a flag. --40bus (talk) 12:37, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- @40bus, read that article. The flag dates from the old NI parliament which dissolved in the 1970s, the new assembly haven't re-adopted the flag. The old flag is usually seen to only represent loyalists in Northern Ireland and is rejected by a large (remaining) part of the population there, especially during The Troubles sectarian conflict. As a result the new assembly haven't adopted any flag, although they have been recommended to create a new neutral one, but haven't yet. DankJae 12:47, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
