[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Las Vegas, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You removed an anon's edit request and Fehufanga's reply. Let the bot archive it. Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Nithya Raman, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Adakiko (talk) 05:48, 20 August 2022 (UTC)

L.A. elections are nonpartisan
[edit]Just to let you know, elections is Los Angeles and in Los Angeles County are nonpartisan, and no parties are represented, even if candidates are a part of and/or endorsed by a specific party. reppoptalk 03:43, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- you can still put political party's on the election box regardless if its nonpartisan all elections except for federal elections 2603:8001:2902:64F4:FCF6:2B8F:2977:880 (talk) 04:24, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- Really? Is there a guideline on that, I'd like to know. Especially since a lot of modern nonpartisan elections don't have any parties, including in the 2021 Seattle mayoral election, the 2021 Seattle City Council election, the previous two LA mayor elections, and a lot more. The only place I could see a discussion would be here in 2020 but that only mentions the older LA articles. reppoptalk 05:38, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- Ok that's Seattle Washington in California news reporters and the State write the political partys regardless if its nonpartisan the gubernatorial elections are nonpartisan so your right but I'm also right. 2603:8001:2902:64F4:FCF6:2B8F:2977:880 (talk) 05:56, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- On the official website for results, they are nonpartisan. On the city clerk certified candidates page, they do not write the parties. It's also done this way in the previous elections as well. reppoptalk 15:12, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- I didn't say city Clark the state writes the political party's 2603:8001:2902:64F4:FCF6:2B8F:2977:880 (talk) 19:39, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- Why would that matter? It's the cities records. reppoptalk 04:02, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
