You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. If you edit without a username, your IP address (212.247.11.156) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

When you tag articles for merging, you should also initiate the discussion with your rationale - it is not sufficient to express that rationale in your edit summary--Matildatalk21:51, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Ivybridge Community College, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. Good catch on The Pillow Book: translations of public-domain works are indeed copyright-protected, and American copyright on anything written in 1976 expires no earlier than 2046 (and later still by the amount the author lived past then). Everything before 1920 has expired, and between then and 1948, it depends on whether the copyright was renewed 28 years after written. Nothing written since 1948 expires earlier than 2018! And i think that's true (even before 1976) without requiring the work to have included a copyright notice. I'd say your reverted May edit was made in good faith, and that WP is likely to benefit as you find your feet here. You should consider registering for an acct, which will let people recognize you (without having to dig up your contribs page) and thus help you build a good reputation among your colleagues. --Jerzy•t06:11, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In April, you added info boxes on Aftonbladet and Expressen, indicating that these two articles contradict each other. The boxes refer to the talk pages, but they don't mention any contradiction. What exactly is the contradiction? Could you expand on this? --LA2 (talk) 00:55, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, now I saw you used a template parameter (which produced no visible result) to detail the contradiction. I cleared this up. The Aftonbladet article has the correct version, and that is also where these details belong. Thanks for pointing this out! --LA2 (talk) 01:01, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:46, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In the whitelist page, I moved your request up to the correct section in the same page. Just telling you, so you won't be left wondering why your request is no longer at the place where you had created it. --Enric Naval (talk) 22:32, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Petter Northug, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Hello, I'm Gladamas. An edit you recently made to T.A.T.u. seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. –Gladamastalk22:57, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address.
