[edit]Hello, I'm Th78blue. I noticed that you recently removed content from List of equipment of the Ukrainian Ground Forces without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please do not remove content without adequate explanation. ♥Th78blue (talk)♥ 23:02, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
I explained why, actually. The blog from which it was cited is absolute junk with no standard of evidence whatsoever. 209.159.195.97 (talk) 23:03, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
- The source provides photos that are all date and time stamped. Conservative cheese ball (talk) 12:11, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- I would also like to add that it is not one man as you suggested but many people working on it and sources are verifed by the owners of the site.If you have a problem with my sources you can take it up with me personally before deleting hours of perfectly accurate information Conservative cheese ball (talk) 12:22, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- prove that it's accurate then. the owners of the site never do. they say they have evidence which no one can ever see. they just post pictures of tanks in a field with no context and say OH GOD THE RUSSIANS LOST 30 BILLION VEHICLES. that is not accurate. 209.159.195.97 (talk) 00:33, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
- Content from websites whose content is largely user-generated is generally unacceptable. Sites with user-generated content include personal websites, personal and group blogs (excluding newspaper and magazine blogs), content farms, Internet forums, social media sites, video and image hosting services, most wikis, and other collaboratively created websites.
- Examples of unacceptable user-generated sites are Ancestry.com, Facebook, Fandom, Find a Grave, IMDb, Instagram, ODMP, Reddit, Tumblr, Twitter, and Wikipedia (self referencing).
- Although review aggregators (such as Rotten Tomatoes) may be reliable, their audience ratings based on the reviews of their users are not.
- In particular, a wikilink is not a reliable source.
- that is per WP:RS. oryx is NOT a reliable source and i am going to continue to remove all references to it. 209.159.195.97 (talk) 00:37, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
