Happy Mothers Day
Hi Mummy, I hope you have a wonderful Mothers Day, thanks so much for teaching me everything about Wikipedia. (hope i am not creeping you out)

RFD Closures
When closing RFD's as keep, you need to remove the {{rfd}} tag from the redirect. I've taken care of that for the four Wikipedia redirects you closed earlier.
Also, deletion debates should only be closed as a withdrawal if no other users recommend deletion. If someone else than the nominator has recommended deletion, the nominators withdrawal does not close the debate. The other person's opinion is still in affect. As such, I've re-opened the Wiekiepiedia debate.
If you have any questions, please let me know. -- JLaTondre (talk) 11:52, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry about that! I hope it wasn't too much trouble.
- What policy page states information about closing debates because of withdrawal? Thanks for your help. Midorihana~いいですね? はい! 20:42, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- No problem.
- See Wikipedia:Speedy keep, Applicability #1.

Greetings!
Hey! Yeah, I've been gone for a month studying my arse off for AP examinations. Now that they're done I can finally, finally regain my life. :D Good job on those RfD's! And also, how goes the wiki life for you? Any way I can help? Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 01:10, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm, I may be a bit late to answer this, but it depends on the vandal. I myself had interactions with maybe two individuals, each who was vandalizing until I talked them into not doing so. It sounds impossible but it wasn't that hard. Usually, I try to take a calm, approachable line; many users here often play the power role, saying silly things like "If you don't stop I'm going to block you and I'll never care" or "I just reverted your vandalism in five seconds, keep testing me". Stuff like that is what doesn't help; going on a power trip in front of a common vandal is going to do nothing but antagonize them. It also makes people look too aggressive, and if they're that easily provoked the vandal will continue for sure. Instead, trying to talk to them reasonably has much more fruitful consequences. Hope that helps! Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 20:23, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Eh, sockpuppeting users... those are tricky because you can never be sure if they're actually a sock or just very similar to another user. If I suspect someone of sockpuppeting I leave them a gentle note informing them of our policies on sockpuppets; if the socks stay active and are acting maliciously, I'll file an RfCU or such. The key is to use your judgement, because there's no real template that socks and their masters fit into. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 06:25, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey there, I created my first article The Karls it's terribly written, a stub, and not very informative but It was my first try I guess, what I don't know how to do is write down my references, I used one site, i should've looked at how to do it myself but you explain it better (sorry), but there is a problem more than half of the information came from a printed sheet my history teacher handed out does that count or do i have to delete the article if it does count what do i write in the references. :)Wannabe Wiki (talk) 08:01, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
Wakalimasen!!!
Dear Midorihana, I have a COI with a certain administrator and I was wondering how best to solve this because I think he has been quite sneaky in provoking me (Read: User_talk:Jbmurray#Your mission (should you choose to accept)). As for my image (resolution is 624x420 pixels) on this page, I had originally uploaded into Wikipedia after using Microsoft Paint to insert captions into it on 9 March 2008 but this website: http://www.israeliweapons.com had clearly downloaded my image version, then cleaned up and cropped away my title caption their image (resolution is 609x381 pixels) using Adobe Photoshop before putting up for use on their website recently. Thus resulting in my image being questioned as a possible copyvio version since I had released it for reuse under the conditions laid down in the license of {{self|cc-by-3.0}}. Could you lend me a hand here? Arigato gozaimasu. --Dave1185 (talk) 05:34, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Sorry
Im sorry if i wasnt clear. I wasnt implying that thhe article was my own, to keep, maintain and to take credit for. I meant that, so far, the article which was created by me has not been added to, and is therefore completely made up of information written by me. In future, dont take any of my comments seriously unless there is a statement asking you to. Usually, my comments are either sarcastic remarks, attempts at humor or they revolve around a joke that most likely wasnt posted on wikipedia. Thanks all the same, and please continue to talk to me on wikipedia. Magically Clever (talk) 09:23, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Response
Sorry for not replying earlier. I deleted the merge suggestion so that my page would not be destroyed. Now, i know that its not my page, but i like to think of it that way. I know what really happens when a merge occours. It happened to Adrians Karls page. Everything was deleted and the title of the pre-existing article was changed to incorporate the word Karls. Reluctantly Accept
It would be fine if the two pages are merged, so you can add the comment to the page. As long as most information from my page is retained and not deleted, i see no peroblem. All the best, Magically Clever (talk) 04:04, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
your determination is incorrect
You unchanged a contribution I made to a list of cultivars. What I put there was factually correct and added to the description of a mostly empty list. Know why the descriptions are empty? Because of moderator reversions.
I want you to know that moderators make wikipedia contribution an unfriendly process. This is a complaint I have heard many times. You take away from the incentive to contribute to wikipedia by reverting good information. What are your qualifications for evaluating what I wrote? Did you do research? Do you know first-hand? Did you revert this because I did not login?
I have vandalized Wikipedia once by putting in stupid information, so a safe assumption is that you extrapolated from that incident that everything I put in wikipedia is bad information that should be reverted. I apologized already for that, and it was mostly in response to moderator-reversion...giving you guys work to do since you undid mine several times for no good reason.
If my work is scrutinized because of prior vandalization, then why warn me? why not just not accept my edits in the future, since my edits from this IP just create work for moderators like yourself?
--
I also want to say something else. I have a master's degree in an analytical field requiring sound writing ability. Chances are, unless you have a doctorate, you are not more qualified to evaluate information than I. Unless you have written a book like I have, chances are you are not a better writer either. So, it must be something else. Control issues, perhaps?
- Moderators like you, who erase good information because of your own personal and uninformed bias are making Wikipedia suck.*
Your mission statement: We make the internet not suck.
Obviously I disagree.
I bet you don't moderate things you don't understand like articles on statistical mechanics. Chances are, if it 'reads' a certain way and the science is beyond you, you will leave it alone. Or if there is a simple correction to an article from Stephen Hawking made anonymously, you will resist changes-as a status-quotarian-and revert it. In this way, you can allow really bad info can crop up. It seems many moderators are qualified only to revert good, simple information because they 'don't like who's changing it'.
Should that be the case, Disallow anonymous editing!
Please think about these issues.
--
Finally, I have a suggestion for you.
Maybe it would be helpful if you could suggest to wikipedia that moderation be done by concensus (possibly publicly) instead of singly. If you embrace the wisdom-of-crowds paradigm and want to prove you're not an excessive control-freak like many other moderators on wikipedia (and everywhere else on the internet), maybe you could pass this along. Thanks in advance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.173.248.118 (talk) 08:21, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

I actually think that's a great ref. Made me rethink getting an xbox 360 XD. Did you look at the link I gave you about a month ago? Wannabe Wiki disappointed us
Hello Midorihana, I noticed that you had been in touch with Wannabe Wiki ever since the user became a wikipedian and had been helping the user out, even i sent a message wishing the best. I was hoping the user was going to help the encyclopedia just like you did but once i saw that petition about Jimbo Wales i knew something fishy was going on and now the user has been blocked indef. here because it is a sockpuppet of Adrian Fletcher. I guess you never know who someone really is on here and that you should always have an open mind. Thanks and all the best Roadrunnerz45 (talk 2 me) 08:28, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Harold Keables Article
-Midorihana-
How's life on Wikipedia? Anyways, I noticed that you are going to start an article on Harold Keables, the noted English teacher that once taught at `Iolani School. I believe I have a few sources that may be helpful, so tell me when you're going to start that. By the way, nice job on those Botball and World Festival articles. Happy editing!--Benedict of Constantinople (talk) 00:29, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sure it's notable enough. After, the Keables Chair and the Keables Guide are both pretty important. You could merge it with the `Iolani Article. Happy editing! --Benedict of Constantinople (talk) 22:34, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- I have yet to find them....But if you want to get started, it might be good to have an entire section dedicated to the Harold Keables Guide. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Benedict of Constantinople (talk • contribs) 22:43, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

How's it going? You may be wondering why I am coming to you for this question (well, when I actually ask it, you might wonder). The reason is, you're an admin, a rollbacker, a Huggle user, and you're the one who welcomed me to Wikipedia; why not ask you? I have been using Huggle for just over two weeks. The latest version requires anyone who logs into it to have rollback. Because I would like to continue using huggle, I wish to apply for rollback. What I was wondering, was what kind of stuff* should a user have to be likley accepted for rollback? Cheers! *By stuff, I mean things like edit usage, time elapsed since joining Wikipedia, etc. You're dreaming eh? 04:29, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
