Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, たたたたたたたたったポンタ, and welcome to Wikipedia! While efforts to improve Wikipedia are always welcome, unfortunately your contributions are not written in an English that is good enough to be useful. You appear to be more familiar with Japanese; did you know there is a Wikipedia in Japanese? You may prefer to contribute there instead. In any case, welcome to the project, and thank you for your efforts! If you need help, please feel free to notify me on my talk page. -Lemonaka‎ 15:22, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm ArglebargleIV. I noticed that in this edit to Tokugawa shogunate, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ArglebargleIV (talk) 22:02, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm JPxG. I noticed that in this edit to List of wars and anthropogenic disasters by death toll, you removed content without adequately explaining why. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. jp×g 22:05, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article List of government of Japan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article pretty much just duplicates Draft:List of governments of Japan, and it does not look ready for mainspace yet (uncited, never submitted for review there). I would either merge this with that article or just outright delete this one.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Skarmory (talk • contribs) 13:41, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Also, cite sources when you make an article. The Japanese Wikipedia may have different sourcing standards, but here, each new article should have at least one source, and preferably more than that. Skarmory (talk • contribs) 13:45, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Loafiewa (talk) 09:12, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

List of governments of Japan moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, List of governments of Japan, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:50, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm John21716. I noticed that you added or changed content in two articles, which are Battle of Busan (1592) and Battle of Myeongnyang, but you have not provided adequate references that prove that both battles were the strategic victories of Japanese navy. I would like to invite you to the talk pages of Battle of Busan (1592) and Battle of Myeongnyang rather than continuing the edit war, so you can provide any other references showing that all of my arguments are wrong and prove that all other references suggested in the original article of each two battle are not as trustful as the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on these two talk pages above or my talk page. Thank you. John21716(talk) 07:08, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Battle of Noryang shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Considering your previous history you should reread WP:RS and stop litigating over old and primary sources based on your own interpretation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Qiushufang (talkcontribs)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of conflicts by duration, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Franco-Spanish War. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
