I deleted that content, for a number of reasons. First of all, if it's an article draft, that's the wrong place for it. See WP:FIRST, for instance. And we're not a webhost. Second, the text, or parts of it, were copied, it seems, from the Russian wiki but without proper attribution. Third, it's not English. We're the English Wikipedia. Fourth, I do not believe the images were properly licensed.

In short, please acquaint yourself with our guidelines--and write it up in English. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 16:10, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Терентьев Константин Викторович, "Шериф", requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that has essentially the same content as an article on another Wikimedia Foundation project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. An article you recently created, Terentyev Konstantin Victorovich, Sheriff (group), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. • This item should not have been moved back to mainspace after it had been draftified. It is seemingly without referencing (biographical articles cannot be accepted without proper referencing) and does not present as a usable Wikipedia item. Please review the guide to article creation, the manual of style and the notability guidelines. If this is an WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY please see that page for why this is not accepted and also why it may not be a good idea. If you have a connection to the subject, this must be declared (see WP:COI). The item, having been moved to draftspace previously and just returned to mainspace without addressing the issues, could easily be proposed for deletion (which the community would probably decide it should be). If it is moved back to draftspace very quickly it may survive for it to be developed further. Eagleash (talk) 23:21, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Terentyev Konstantin Victorovich, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Do not move pages whilst a deletion discussion is in progress. Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.. I assume that this was a mistake, but an admin will need to reverse this move. Mako001 (talk) 06:46, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Терентьев Константин Викторович, "Шериф", where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
