The siege of Ganzhou in 1648 was a failed attempt to capture Ganzhou initiated by Jin Shenghuan, who revolted against Qing dynasty two months ago. Jin armies besieged Ganzhou for two months and a half, until they knew that their rear bases were invaded by Qing reinforcement. Jin was forced to retreat in June and then was besieged in Nanchang until the next year when the rebellion was suppressed.
