Decided: The calendar date (in UTC) when the case was decided. If the case did not reach a decision, it will be Closed instead. If the case involved an administrator "retiring", it will be "Deopped" instead.
Abbrev.: A shorthand abbreviation of the casename. See ArbCaseAbv for more details.
Type: The type of case it is:
Admin: A case centred around the conduct of one or more administrators.
Dispute: A case that examines an intractible dispute between two or more editors directly.
Editor: A case about the (non-administrative) misconduct of an editor.
Functionary: A case centred around misuse of Suppressor or Checkuser permissions.
Omnibus: A case about misconduct in a topic area writ large.
Other: Any case that doesn't fall into one of the categories above.
Remedy name: The name of the remedy (or a description of it, for earlier cases which did not have sectioned remedies).
Remedy (in modern terms): Basically my best attempt to explain, in plain English and modern understanding, what the remedy means.
If this section has a coloured background, the colour indicates its status or origin:
Yellow (#FFFF00) is a temporary injunction issued mid-case.
Blue (#00BFFF) is a post-close amendment or motion.
Red (#CD5C5C) is a remedy that has since been rescinded or otherwise is wholly reliant on previous remedies that are themselves rescinded.
Green (#32CD32) is a remedy whose wording was amended post-close, either due to an amendment/motion or due to changes in process (such as Discretionary Sanctions to Contentious Topic).
Brown (#D2691E) is suspended or in abeyence, usually as part of a period where a remedy has been appealed.
Amended/Enacted: If a remedy was added or amended post-close, this will be the calendar date (in UTC) when the remedy was modified or took effect.
Rescinded: If a remedy was terminated, this will be the calendar date (in UTC) when the remedy was ended.
Enforceable?: Indicates whether a given remedy can be invoked at WP:AE. Any remedy that predates April 2006 and was not still in force by then predates AE entirely.
Sup/Opp/Abs/Rcs: The vote totals for a remedy (Support, Oppose, Abstain, Recused).
Any case that has been courtesy-blanked or closed without action will be given a very brief description and nothing further.
Kafziel's administrator rights are revoked. They may only regain them through a new, successful Request for Adminship. In addition, due to their attempting to evade Arbitration by "retiring" Kafziel and moving to a previously-known alternative account, they cannot gain any sort of advanced permission (administrator, bureaucrat, suppressor, CheckUser) on any account that isn't Kafziel or explicitly and publicly connected to Kafziel.

Amendment: American politics 2 (1992 cutoff)
The contentious topic regime has its cutoff date moved from 1932 to 1992 due to there being virtually no issues with articles about topics predating 1992, with most of the issues taking place on articles about current politics. In essence, this rescinds the old post-1932 regime and replaces it with a post-1992 one, with no other change to the CTOP declaration.

QuackGuru Warned[sic]
QuackGuru is warned that continuing to engage in a pattern of disruption to Wikipedia will result in further sanctions. Given that there are multiple findings of fact about QuackGuru's behaviour and recidivism, one has to wonder if ArbCom vacationed to the Bay of Bengal during the case.

CFCF Warned[sic]
CFCF is told to start talking with editors they are in dispute with, and edit warring blocks do not require Arbitration remedies to be levied.
(All remedies were explicitly superseded by the remedies in PIA4. All motions amending the remedies will be omitted for brevity, with the text provided describing how the remedies worked at the time PIA4 was closed.)'

General Prohibition
All pages in the PIA area are put under a 500/30 restriction indefinitely. The only carveout allowed is talk pages of affected articles. Creation of new articles in the topic area is likewise restricted to extended-confirmed editors, but deletion of pages created in defiance of this is not mandated.

Sanctions available
This is essentially a primer for administrators seeking to levy discretionary sanctions in the PIA area, and notes that BLP is an option as well for content regarding living people, even if the person would fall into the PIA area.
Scope: Persistent edit-warring and other behavioural problems amongst users in the genetically modified organisms topic area
CT?: Oct. 06, 2015 - current (Injunction)
(The following remedies refer to "the GMO area", which encompasses all articles and edits about agricultural biotechnology (including genetically modified organisms), commercially-produced agricultural chemicals, and companies related to either, broadly construed.)

Temporary Injunction
As long as this case is live, and provided the person being sanctioned has been alerted to the existence of this remedy, any administrator may summarily sanction a user who disrupts articles or discussions in the GMO area (minus companies) as they see fit. In addition, all editors in the GMO area, writ large, are under 1RR. Any sanctions or warnings issued this way (both directly and consequentially) must be logged on the case page/centralised log and can only be appealed to WP:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement or to ArbCom directly.

Discretionary sanctions
Both the contentious topic designation and 1RR portions of the temporary injunction are retained indefinitely. Later amendments add companies involved in agricultural chemistry and/or agricultural biotechnology to the GMO area.

Motion: David Tornheim (July 2020)
ArbCom rescinds a discretionary sanction topic-banning David Tornheim from the glyphosate topic area. The arbitrators noted that David outright avoided the GMO area even after his ban was loosened in 2019, and acknowledged that this was likely due to avoid being seen as worrying around the edges of it.

Enforcement of Eric Corbett's sanctions
ArbCom confirms the 1mo enforcement block against Eric Corbett. However, all future enforcement request threads against him must be done at WP:AE and cannot be acted on and closed for at least 24h. The instigating incident - Eric Corbett trying to defend himself on User talk:Jimbo Wales in light of a hit piece in The Atlantic - was met with an immediate (and controversial) block by a semi-active admin and an unblock by another admin who wound up having her tools revoked in responce.

Motion (September 2017)
Hijiri88's topic-ban from Japanese culture is suspended for 6mo. During this time, the topic-ban may be reinstated at administrator discretion for disruption, either by blocking them for misconduct in the topic area or by fiat. If the suspension period ends without the topic-ban being reinstated (or all reinstatements successfully appealed), it will automatically lapse. (N.B.: The remedy is not struck or collapsed on the case page, but I can't find any evidence it was reinstated. Unless/until I find such evidence, I have to assume the ban ultimately lapsed.)
