I'm a student at the University of Freiburg. I created this account because I am partaking in a course called "Translating Wikipedia" offered by OberMegaTrans this semester. I'm looking forward to contributing to the encyclopedia by translating a couple of German articles into English (or vice versa) as part of this course. As I really like art, literature and languages, I'd be especially interested in translating articles about lesser known authors, artists, artworks, and/or pieces of literature. All translations I am going to work on as part of the "Translating Wikipedia" course will be linked below.
My username is a reference to the Latin term for sunflowers (Helianthus), which are my favorite flowers. Note that this page is neither a personal blog, nor does it have anything to do with sunflowers. I only chose this username because I really like sunflowers and I did not want to use my real name.
