RFAR alert
One of the arbitrators has asked that every admin who is arguably involved in the events at Sarah Palin be notified of an arbitration case covering it. I therefore draw your attention to Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration#MZMcBride. In your case, you are, like me, one of those who made an edit to the article while it was full protected. - I have added a statement to the RFARB, thank you for drawing my attention to this. Chrislk02 Chris Kreider 19:29, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Administrator abuse complaint
Chris, I am writing to you regarding an Administrator abuse compliant. The purpose of making this complaint here is to see if we can resolve this between ourselves, as required by WP, before a formal complaint would be filed.
In deleting the draft article in my user page, you violated several Wikipedia Policies, specifically:
1. You questioned my motives for creating this draft article. This is a violation of WP:AGF. I could just as easily question your motives. This however is both non-productive and irrelevant. There is no wiki policy that allows material to be deleted based on the motives of the editor who posted it; the relevant WP focus on the actual content, not on motives. If I am mistaken about this, please refer me to the policy that permits material to be deleted based on the assumed motives of the editor.
2. You did not articulate a valid reason for the immediate deletion of a draft article in user space.
3. You set a "moving bar" with your reasons, first stating one reason, then stating another.
4. You made insinuations that the material might violate BLP, but you decided not to use the BLP procedures. Nonetheless you continued to make BLP insinuations. You are well aware that BLP violations require special procedures. If you are going to make BLP accusations, you are obligated to follow the BPL procedures. If you are not going to follow the BLP procedures, then you are obligated to not make BLP accusations.
To resolve this matter, I request that you agree to the following:
1. To refrain in the future from questioning the motives of an editor.
2. To not exercise any administrative authority based on your beliefs or interpretations of the motives of an editor.
3. When summarily deleting any material, you cite the specific WP that permits immediate deletion.
4. That you not delete any material without a valid reason under the relevant WP.
5. That when you delete any material and make accusations or insinuations of BLP violations, you follow the specific procedures required of BLP violations.
6. That when you do not follow the specific procedures required of alleged BLP violations, you refrain from making any accusation or insinuation that there may exist a BLP violation.
Please indicate whether you agree to each of these requests. If you are in agreement, then I will consider this matter resolved.
Thank you.

- Do you have any references to substantiate any of these claims and to assert notability? I just reviewed the deleted article and it does nto assert notability and has no references or anything to substantiate any claims? If you can provide me with some links regarding this it would be very helpful. Thanks! Chrislk02 Chris Kreider 23:20, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- can I email you the references? I have no clue how to add pic to this page. if possible - thanks. [what's you email?] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.179.140.131 (talk) 23:33, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

- sure, I can look for some stuff to show you. but you must understand that most of it in Hebrew, since the entire jewish community world-wide speak hebrew and listen to him in this language, therefore it will be hard to show it to you. he has a rabbinical school [Yeshiva] of 600 students, in jerusalem. again, it will be hard to show it, so do as you think. if the fact that Wikipedia in Hebrew has a page on him can help, I can translate it for you. all the best. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.250.187.164 (talk) 23:19, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Regarding your revert of my edit
On the page Just as Long as We're Together (novel), an article about a Judy Blume novel, I edited the page because the characters' names that are listed are completely incorrect, and the summary given was only barely informative. If you had looked up the information provided in my edit, you might have seen that I was helping, not harming. :)
I will edit again later, providing a "more detailed" edit summary, though I thought it was unnecessary to anyone who bothered to check for accuracy. ;)
Thanks
Thanks for the note on my talk page regarding my return. :) Best wishes. Acalamari 15:33, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
The Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Kermanshahi checkuser case results said Kermanshahi (talk · contribs) is a "possible" sock of -The Bold Guy- (talk · contribs) and Last king of Frisia (talk · contribs), and also a "likely" sock of indef-blocked Mrlob (talk · contribs). This Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Kermanshahi RFA is also quite odd. I do not think the user should be unblocked, no. Cirt (talk) 16:57, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
- The technical evidence, however, does not rule this out. I am not comfortable unblocking. If there is a consensus among other administrators to unblock, with you as a mentor taking responsibility for this, I will not object. But at this point in time there does not appear to be consensus among administrators to do that. Cirt (talk) 22:32, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
- I disagree with your unblock, which you did first without discussing it on WP:ANI, not the other way around, which would have been appropriate - especially considering the CU results. I will leave it to you to be responsible for this user and be a mentor - hopefully there will be no disruption or sockpuppetting in the future. Cirt (talk) 13:55, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
Also, there was no need for you to use CAPS in your discussion with me. It is NOT conducive to a POSITIVE dialogue, but instead fosters non-constructive discussion. Hopefully you can avoid doing that in the future. Cirt (talk) 14:00, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- Sometimes CAPS COMES ACROSS AS YELLING and especially when dealing with a sensitive issue where we should strive to do our utmost to be civil and polite with each other, CAPS MAY BRING ACROSS A CONNOTATION WHICH IS NOT INTENDED OR INAPPROPRIATE. For all of these reasons, I do hope that you avoid this type of behavior in the future. The emphasis was not needed, I could have read your words just fine, without it. Thanks. Cirt (talk) 14:06, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
I apologize. You are correct, that last bit was a tad out of line. I just simply don't think CAPS is ever really constructive. It really does come across as yelling, and as such I see no situation where that is not inappropriate. I see at least 6 instances, not 2, where you chose to use CAPS, effectively yelling at me. Cirt (talk) 14:11, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. I am sorry we had this miscommunication as well. I wish you good luck mentoring Kermanshahi (talk · contribs). Cirt (talk) 14:15, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Hello. I thought you may like to know that Michael Hill has now played List A cricket for Victoria [1] and therefore passes WP:ATHLETE and can be restored. Came to you as you were the deleting admin. Also, I was thinking he probably should be moved to Michael Hill (cricketer)? Regards, HornetMike (talk) 15:51, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
