[edit]Sorry, about that. I mixed you up with the Bold Guy who posted below. You see, that's a disadvantage of not having a username but I am glad that this is rectified now. Welcome! Str1977 (talk) 08:52, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. I'm glad I have joined in. Last king of Frisia (talk) 08:53, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- Of course, every editor is welcome, though as everywhere there are meanies in WP too. And sometimes tempers heat up. If that happens, don't let that bring you down. And you needn't worry - you can use your account as often or as seldom as you wish. Str1977 (talk) 09:00, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Won't they close it if I happened to be unactive for months, maybe a year? I regulary have to go to Switzerland for my job so... I would hate to see my account closed when I am back again. Last king of Frisia (talk) 09:02, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- No, if you are inactive you are merely inactive. Unless you yourself chose to delete it, to my knowledge WP will not do it. Str1977 (talk) 09:14, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Pier Gerlofs Donia
[edit]Thanks for your invitation to review the above article. Unfortunately I don't have time at the moment - I'm tied up with a number of article copyedits - but it should get some attention soon. As I'm sure you noticed, the GA review list is perpetually backlogged, but most articles are reviewed within a few weeks. All the best, EyeSerenetalk 08:09, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. Last king of Frisia (talk) 08:57, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Apologies
[edit]I am sorry for any offence that has been caused, no insult was intended. I am not very good with languages which is why I added "maybe German". Happy editing, Guest9999 (talk) 09:47, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Ok. No worries. Care to help me search translators? Last king of Frisia (talk) 09:50, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, rather Last king of Frisia should apologize for his edit summary. As the article is a copy of the Frisian Wikipedia, I've deleted it per WP:CSD#A2 since we already have it inside the project. To get it translated please go in such cases to Wikipedia:Translation.--Tikiwont (talk) 09:59, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Tikiwont I understand. I apologize. You go and help me review Pier Gerlofs Donia for GA, chief Tipiwont? Last king of Frisia (talk) 10:02, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- So we're all fine. Now please note above reason for the deletion of Frisian battles and how to go about translation. Unfortunately I am not good at getting articles to GA status. Happy editing.--Tikiwont (talk) 10:19, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of "Frisian battles"
[edit]A page you created, Frisian battles, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is recreation of content previously deleted following a deletion discussion.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.
Thank you. Koert van der Veer (talk) 10:08, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Frisian battles
[edit]Please use the talk pages for comments about the enceclopedia. The articles themselves should discuss the subject. I'll move your point to the talk page.... Koert van der Veer (talk) 10:09, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Pier Gerlofs Donia. Koert van der Veer (talk) 10:22, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Jouke de Vries
[edit]I have added some wikification. However there needs to be more about his achievements as he does not appear very notable. Is he elected to a parliament? What else has he done apart from getting a degree and losing the faction leadership battle?
Are you a Donia as well? (as Grutte Pier) Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:05, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
I'll translate some more info from the given sources (which are in Dutch)
And no, I am not a Donia. I am a Jelckama. My ancestor was allied to Donia, he was his nephew. We know him as Greate Wijard. I'm not sure whether or not he has an article, if not, I need to make him one! Last king of Frisia (talk) 11:08, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Check out Wierd Jelckama. One article you could write is on Fiveval a Frisian writer. I know absolutely nothing! Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:19, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Fiveval is no writer! It is the name of the legend in which Greate Pier kills five men with a plough at the place called "Five fall" as in: The place were Five men have fallen. It is probably close to Donia estate, Kimswerd Friesland. In any case, it is a mistake easily made by those who do not understand frisian. You do see, however, how much Frisian language looks like english: Five = Vife, and Fall = fall. FiveFall. God I love my country! Last king of Frisia (talk) 11:23, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- Could you explain the meaning of Fiveval again in the Grutte Pier#Fiveval paragraph. Then we can just redirct to that paragraph. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:43, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
I did. Care to make the section in to better Enlish for mine is not good enough for a professional article. Last king of Frisia (talk) 11:48, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Did You Know problem
[edit]Hi. I've reviewed your DYK submission for the article Jouke de Vries, and made a comment on it at the submissions page. Please feel free to reply or comment there. Cheers, Art LaPella (talk) 22:38, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Why did you send me this DYK message? -- RattleMan 09:04, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Because I thought: maybe you want to know about the greatest Frisian of all time. Don't you? Last king of Frisia (talk) 09:05, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Did you know (DYK) about Greate Pier? Last king of Frisia (talk) 08:55, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
I didn't until ten minutes ago. Now, thanks to you and to Wikipedia, I am better informed. Why did you mention it? DavidFarmbrough (talk) 09:08, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
The thing is, the article is up for GA class and has been put on hold by its reviewer. I wondered that, since I have improved it very much since, maybe you could tell me: would it pass or fail at the moment? Last king of Frisia (talk) 09:10, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, but I don't know what you're talking about. I don't know what GA class is, I don't know in what capacity the 'reviewer' is acting, nor for whom he acts. I don't know whether the 'reviewer' has the power to put an article 'on hold', nor what 'on hold' means in this context. Well done for trying to improve the article, but I cannot advise you on whether it would pass or fail whatever unspecified test you are referring to. Perhaps you meant to ask someone else? DavidFarmbrough (talk) 09:15, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, I have no idea what you are up to - but i see you are blocked - have fun SatuSuro 10:04, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Jouke Saha
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages such as Jouke Saha, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Bongomatic (talk) 10:25, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Whether or not your story is true, it is not relevant to the article. Please stop vandalizing Wikipedia. Bongomatic (talk) 10:39, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
SD of user pages
[edit]Please don't tag someone's user and talk pages for speedy deletion. That's not what speedy deletion tags are for. Screams of Cold Winter's talk and user pages are apparently mock articles that probably wouldn't pass in the article space. They are allowed to have them on their user page although a sandbox would probably be a better place for them. Either way, if you have an issue with the content and think it is spam, you should at least welcome the new user and ask them before tagging the pages. Pinkadelica Say it... 10:39, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Blocked as a sockpuppet You have been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet of a banned or blocked user. I checked it. And you are making a major mistake here. I may be a disruptive troll but no multiple account of any other user. Check my IP adress: it has only been used by me on this account and by nobody else. Under it, I've been active since 2006, which is much longer then the people you accuse me of being one and the same. For example: Kermanshahi, Mrlob, Bold Guy and all other long term vandals have no edist whatsoever from before 2007! So you can block me for being a vandal, or canvasser, but not for being a sockpuppet. More likely it would be if I were the original sockpuppeteer. If you want to have someone banned, then do so on the right grounds ! Last king of Frisia (talk) 08:02, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Mrlob#Contribs - here, this seems to be much more disturbing then the relatively harmless canvassing I've done; clearly Mrlob and Kermanshahi were having some sort of uncanny agreement. Listen up all of you administrators who link me to that group of vandals: I have nothing to do with them. Check out my IP adress and see if they match. It will turn out they do not match. Then you will have to make my indef. bann a temporaly one. So go ahead and as I say, I am sure you will be convinced of my innocense (in this matter) afterwards.
