Change to old version

[edit]

I think the older style looked a lot better, the current one is far too bulky. I think we should change it back to the slimmer look with the two flags on each side. Cvene64 06:55, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This version uses the standard template which works across all platforms, the previous format didn't work too well on some browsers. The standard templates are becoming the norm on wikipedia, I was just preempting the inherent changes. If you think it is too bulky, you could change the style parameters. --Bob 18:56, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What browser had trouble with it? It just doesnt look that great to be honest..Cvene64 09:45, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Safari, Opera amongst others. Perhaps you could raise your objections at {{Navbox generic}} as that is where this template is now centralised. --Bob 16:11, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Collapsible

[edit]

Does this navbox have to be collapsible? If so, would it be possible to set its default state to "show"? - PeeJay 13:59, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Full width

[edit]

When did we move to a full width navbox. I know there were discussions about it elsewhere and it being widely implemented through various communities, just hadn't noticed it on rugby union navboxes before today.Londo06 09:48, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

middot not bullet

[edit]

{{editprotected}}

Bullets are really more suitable for <small> text - they are a little bit big and ever so slightly over to the right - bold middots are the way to go. If you replace all the &nbsp;•&#32; with {{·}} it should do the trick.

Edit request

[edit]

{{edit protected}} Could the hyphen between the non breaking spaces in the title please be changed to an en dash (eg from - to –) so that it is in compliance with MOS:DASH. Cheers, Jenks24 (talk) 10:59, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Add colours

[edit]

Could the option to add the colours to the existent template without making wholesale changes to the article be possible? i saw that among the various Scotland national rugby union team squad templates, only the 2016 Six Nations template seems to be with colour options. --KoreanDragon (talk) 19:46, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Would it not be simpler to make the 2016 Six Nations template the same as all the others rather than change all the others to match that one? The last discussion on this is at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Rugby_union/Archive_16#Navbox color. noq (talk) 19:53, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@User:Noq, The issue is that the 2016 Six Nations template has the team colours (in this case, Scotland colours), so that every team template has its own colours depending of the team (reflecting the colours used by the teams (e.g.: NZ with black, Australia with yellow, South Africa yellow and green, and so on)). --KoreanDragon (talk) 21:21, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

and also, i used another layout when i did the edition on the templates (both had the colours, but the 2016 Six Nations template didn't had the "|group1 = Forwards |list 1 =" that i used when editing (the ones that make appear the sections "Forwards", "Backs", neither the "|below = Coach:[[ |{*color |"insert color here"|"insert name here"} ]]", which makes the last link appear in a separate bar at the end of the template
