Let's use English on English Wikipedia
[edit]English is a rich and varied language. Let's use existing words (e.g. "credible") so we look more like masters of language than a bunch of Nerds. NE Ent 02:24, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- Debating what those maintaining SPI should do is not helpful, especially when it concerns trivia. Johnuniq (talk) 03:35, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- I still think a "Possible leaning on Likely" is better. "Credible" may confuse people. --TL22 (talk) 03:40, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- I don't see how it "confuses people" when it is explained in the parenthesis. The admins and clerks working in the WP:SPI understand this word very well. Please, do not try to help us this way. If you want to help, apply for the SPI Clerkship, as the process is heavily backlogged. For those who say that this word does not exist, I have to say that the word "Wikipedia" also does not exist. Change
[[File:Symbol version generic.svg|16px|link=|alt=]] '''Possilikely''' (a mix between possible and likely)
to
[[File:Symbol version generic.svg|16px|link=|alt=]] {{{1|'''Possilikely''' (a mix between possible and likely)}}}
which allows arbitrary modification of the template text, hence bringing this in line with {{bnt}}, {{confirmed}} and other SPI templates that already function this way. While this isn't a crucial or urgent change by any means, it provides some added flexibility to use the template in other contexts. Blablubbs|talk 19:54, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
