Kaleidoscope
[edit]Theta Nu Xi has apparently coined usage of "kaleidoscope" to refer to chapters. In May of this year an anonymous editor added this word to the body text of that WP article, which I'd not noticed until now, when I see that the infobox template has been changed to include this word as a parameter, without definition. They appear to be the only group with this usage. How should this be handled? As an unfamiliar, coined usage, it should at least be defined. Other thoughts? - Kaleidoscope should not be a field in this template. This is not the only group that does not use the term chapter. For others, we have either used a free field OR my preferred technique is to use the chapter field as in: 19 kaleidoscope or 19 units or 19 teams, etc. Can we please remove "kaleidoscope" as a field choice? It is very confusing for this to show up in visual editor. Rublamb (talk) 16:09, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- Nuke it from Orbit and then crap on anything left. I'm not quite sure how the addition of the block section has changed things, but remove kaleidoscope and (I *think* tenets that got added at the same time).Naraht (talk) 19:40, 2 October 2024 (UTC)

TemplateData
[edit]Can someone take a look at TemplateData? I have been able to make all changes except removing Kaleidoscope. There is something weird about how it was added and removing it causes a syntax error. Rublamb (talk) 02:24, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
