Not adding new dates to graph
[edit]Now here's a thing- how come the entry for 28 Feb (thanks, @User:AirdishStraus isn't showing? Was it my default right scrolling that's broken it? I tried extra commas after the x, y, and both x and y data sets, but none of these was a fix... Yadsalohcin (talk) 20:47, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- OK, fixed the wraparound issue by adding year values to each date string... but the dates, despite being there as dd-mmm-yyyy, are showing as mmm-yyyy-dd. Anyone know how to fix this? @User: PrimeHunter, I know you've had some experience in this field, can you advise? Yadsalohcin (talk) 10:17, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Yadsalohcin: Fixed by returning to left-to-right.[1] PrimeHunter (talk) 11:36, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
- @PrimeHunter: thanks for this- I think I'd never have found that solution myself! (Now I need to restore those *'s and x's I managed to delete...) Yadsalohcin (talk) 13:36, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

Bar Graph or Line Graph
[edit]I would like to request consensus from other editors familiar with this template over the unilateral change of this graph from a bar graph to a line graph. I reversed the edit but it has been changed yet again by the same editor, and I wish to avoid an editing war. AirdishStraus (talk) 14:33, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- I have split the template into two bar charts (for 2021-top graph and 2020-bottom graph) to better show the individual DAILY data. The line graph showed negligible daily information and was completely unsuitable for purpose. Apologies for the number of corrective edits. I seem unable to get the dates in the order day, month, year: the day is appearing at the end. Assistance welcome. AirdishStraus (talk) 16:52, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
New year, 2022
[edit]Now we're into 2022, can I suggest that we stay with 2 graphs for the time being (perhaps a month?) before splitting off a new graph for the new year, so that latest figures remain with some context? Yadsalohcin (talk) 09:18, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
- Agreed. And could someone more familiar than I am with setting up graphs please do the honours? I struggled to get the graph formatted correctly. AirdishStraus (talk) 09:55, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
- 'Template' set up for 2022. Maybe we should bring it into use (and truncate the '2021/22 graph') at end January, when we can experiment with widths etc... Yadsalohcin (talk) 13:55, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
- But by then all the text in the chart will be squeezed together until it's all unreadable! I want to make a third chart showing 2022, but some issue has prevented me from adding a third chart, only resulting in two charts instead of three! Please help me. --Angeldeb82 (talk) 17:10, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
