William Everett Potter
- ... that the General Joe Potter ferry at Walt Disney World (pictured) is named in honor of Major General William Everett Potter? Source: "One of the ferries that transports Walt Disney World guests across the Seven Seas Lagoon to the Magic Kingdom was later re-christened the General Joe Potter in his honor." [1]

- Hi Hawkeye7 (talk), review follows: article more than 5x expanded from 21 December; article is cited inline throughout to reliable sources (a personal memoir is relied upon but this is co-authored by another and published by the US Army so should be reliable enough); I didn't pick up any issues with overly close paraphrasing in a spot check on some of the sources; image is freely licensed; a QPQ has been carried out; hook fact is interesting, mentioned in article and supported by source. I have only one query, is it actually a steamboat or just made to look like one? The source cited states only that it is a ferry - Dumelow (talk) 08:53, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
- According to our article on Disney riverboats it is, but I have no objection to changing the hook to "ferry". Hawkeye7 (discuss) 09:32, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
