Spittin' Chiclets
- ... that an ad read on the podcast Spittin' Chiclets unintentionally sparked a 100 million dollar vodka brand? Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/carolschram/2019/12/18/pink-whitney-scores-for-spittin-chiclets-barstool-sports-and-new-amsterdam-vodka/?sh=7b26cd93721f

- Hi there, Newtothisedit, and welcome to DYK! Article is new enough and long enough, but I'm afraid the article's sourcing falls short of DYK's reliability standards. I see that the hook is cited to a Forbes contributor – unlike Forbes itself, that would be a WP:RSP no-go. I also don't trust Podbay as a statistics source – I don't see solid evidence of editorial oversight or WP:USEBYOTHERS. The Hustle and theScore.com don't strike me as particularly reliable either, but I won't harangue over that too much. Business Wire is fully a PR source, and I wouldn't count The Equinox as reliable under WP:RSSM. Hopefully that's something we can get fixed up? theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 23:08, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
