Salt Creek (Middle Fork Willamette River)
[edit]- ... that Salt Creek (pictured) is a freshwater stream in Oregon named for salt springs along its banks, and also has natural hot springs?

- Well sourced article, but nowhere in the article does it mention that it was "named for salt springs along its banks". The "hot springs" portion of the hook checks out. My guess is it is in one of your sources, it just didn't find its way in to the article. Fix this, and you're good to go. New enough, long enough, no copyvio, well-sourced. 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 13:40, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
- Yup. Read, and re-read, and re-re-read the article looking for it. Didn't think to check there. Offline source accepted AFG, all is in order, good to go. 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 17:03, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
- Note: I also checked image copyright, ok to use on main page. 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 17:05, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
- Comment I think that a piece of information like that needs to be in the body of the article. The infoboxes are for offering a brief data on the subject. Readers shouldn't need to go hunting around for it, especially as you've created a hook based on it. -- Ohc ¡digame! 01:28, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
