Overall: This is a good nomination! I really enjoyed reading the article. The article is new enough, long enough and has only one sourcing issue (there is a single uncited sentence at the end of the "Personal life" section. The line can be removed or a source can be added to fix this). No copyvio issues (there was one false positive on Earwig, because a quote didn't have quotation marks, but I fixed this). Both hooks are cited and interesting, but I'm not sure about the quality of the sources. Both seem a bit blog-like, especially Hooshmand.net. Would it be possible to find alternatives? This nom's ready as soon as the sourcing issues are fixed. BuySomeApples (talk) 23:54, 1 January 2022 (UTC)
@Aeichler1 and BuySomeApples: Any updates on this? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 03:06, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Aeichler1 and BuySomeApples: Doing a re-ping because the last one didn't go through. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 11:11, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5 and Aeichler1: It looks like the sourcing issues are still there and I couldn't find better ones. I don't think I can approve the hooks as is, so I'm adding an alt hook with a better source for review. BuySomeApples (talk) 19:19, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- Second review needed on ALT2, since I can't approve my own hook. BuySomeApples (talk) 19:19, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
Removing tick, ALT2 is still good but the article has some issues that need to be addressed. valereee (talk) 13:16, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
- Working on the issues, but it may be a couple of weeks before my research materials arrive. valereee (talk) 19:33, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Valereee: The nominator hasn't edited since January 24th. Would you be willing to adopt this nomination in their stead if they do not return? In addition, given that the nomination has been open since late December, the issues probably need to be resolved sooner or later. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 09:30, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
- Narutolovehinata5, I can do that if need be, but I'm not sure it's going to be ready soon as some of the research materials are coming through interlibrary loan. I'm not too concerned about the timing, though, and maybe the delay will give the nom a chance to see this is being discussed. valereee (talk) 19:39, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Valereee: Okay, let us know if you will still be able to do so within a reasonable timeframe. The nominator still hasn't edited lately so sooner or later action will need to be done on this nomination. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 12:32, 9 February 2022 (UTC)

- ALT3 ... that Lillian Eichler Watson created Again She Orders..."A Chicken Salad, Please" (pictured) to advertise her 1921 Book of Etiquette?
- ALT4 ... that Again She Orders..."A Chicken Salad, Please" (pictured) was created by Lillian Eichler Watson to advertise her 1921 Book of Etiquette?
I'm still awaiting several sources, but if others don't want to wait, we could simply remove the two unsourced sections. valereee (talk) 18:14, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for proposing the new hooks; I've taken the liberty of adding you as a co-nominator. Given that you are now involved with the nomination, a new reviewer will be needed to sign everything off. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 12:59, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- Ayup. :) valereee (talk) 20:31, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
- I can adopt :) On spec, this doesn't look too out of shape, but the cn (and arguably bsn) tags should be resolved first. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/they) 06:09, 19 February 2022 (UTC)

- Thanks, Theleekycauldron! The article was written by a family member, apparently a neice or nephew of the subject. I don't think it's a COI disaster, but there was a lot of extra stuff that may have been family lore and was sourced to blogs. Like that she was a millionaire as a teenager. Well, no, her book sold 2 million copies at $1.98. At typical royalties rates that would bring the author ~$277K. A ton of money in the 1920s, but not "a millionaire". It was clearly a notable subject, and I thought it was interesting, too, so I added all those CNs and BSNs as I started cleaning it up. I had to order a lot of sources from interlibrary loan, and it's slow right now (combination of the pandemic and the fact that apparently the Ohio ILL system is currently undergoing renovations) so I'm still waiting on like six. If people here get impatient to get this resolved, I can just remove that stuff while I wait for the books. valereee (talk) 11:02, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
- gotcha! Go at your own pace, I'll follow your lead :) theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/they) 02:44, 22 February 2022 (UTC)

- @Valereee: It's been a while since the last comments here, have the sources arrived and does anything else still need to be done? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 12:32, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
- Narutolovehinata5, still waiting on several interlibrary loan books (Ohio's system is apparently undergoing major changes right now, which are making deliveries slower than normal) as well as hoping for an article from resource exchange. The problem is that two entire sections are mostly unreferenced. I'm hoping these other sources will contain at least some of this information, which I suspect was originally written from the creator's personal knowledge. We can simply remove those sections for now, if that's what others want to do. I personally am not too worried about moving stuff through quickly, but I know some folks dislike seeing these older noms. valereee (talk) 15:53, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Valereee: I see. The nomination has been open for over three months now so it would have been nice to see some action on it sooner or later. Perhaps if only in the spirit of this moving forward, the sections can be removed for now and then re-added once the article has run on DYK. Note to promoter: happy to wait as long as necessary for an image slot, as this one's unusual and links in the second article. valereee (talk) 18:39, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
