John IV of Ohrid
[edit]- ... that the 12th-century archbishop of Ohrid John IV was born as a Byzantine prince of the Komnenos dynasty? Source: pretty much the entire article
- ALT1:... that John IV in the 12th century was the first archbishop of Ohrid to claim the inheritance of the 6th-century Archbishopric of Justiniana Prima? Source: G. Prinzing (2012). "The autocephalous Byzantine ecclesiastical province of Bulgaria/Ohrid. How independent were its archbishops?", esp. pp. 363-364

Improved to Good Article status by Cplakidas (talk). Self-nominated at 10:33, 6 April 2019 (UTC).
- Newly promoted good article, long enough, no neutrality or copyvio issues. Everything is sourced and has inline citations, offline and foreign-language sources used but appear reliable. QPQ is done, no images to worry about. The hooks are interesting and cited, the primary hook probably slightly more interesting. Possibly you could play up the connections with royalty (i.e. Justinian and Alexios I Komnenos) if you wanted to make ALT1 more engaging to the general reader. Nice work User:Cplakidas.
