- Comment: "...was the only UN Peacekeeper to be awarded a Macguffin..." in what context? or did you mean "...is the only UN Peacekeeper to have been awarded a Macguffin"? — LlywelynII 13:50, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- Comment: rather than forcing the readers of the hook to follow the link to Param Vir Chakra, consider amending the hook to "...to be awarded a Param Vir Chakra, which is India's highest medical decoration?" Also, I think you are supposed to bold your topic of the hook, but not also Wikilink it. 15:59, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
- @LlywelynII: I didn't get your concern, please elaborate. Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 16:49, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
- That second comment doesn't make sense, but it isn't mine. They just forgot to sign their name, apparently.

- @LlywelynII: Which page's history? Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 12:07, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
- Is that a joke? This page's. Where else would I find the name of someone who posted a comment here? — LlywelynII 13:59, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
- @LlywelynII: Owww! I got it, actually there is some miscommunication. My first reply for your first comment, which was signed. The comment saying "the only UN Peacekeeper to be awarded a Macguffin", I've asked for clarification on this. Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 14:41, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
- Your grammar was wrong. You needed to clarify or rephrase. You can find out more here. If you just didn't know what a Macguffin was, we have an article about it but it's just a placeholder for the otherwise meaningless words in the hook. (Mr notMD was right: you should clarify what you're talking about. You also—hopefully =)—meant "ohh" [/oʊ/] instead of "oww" [/aʊ/].)
In any case, now that I've already spent so much time here, I'll just go ahead and clean up the hooks for you. I'll remove the extra links, since the award will get far more clicks than your biography if you leave it in the hook. — LlywelynII 04:17, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

- Apologies for not signing my earlier comment, and double apologies for inserting "medical" in there when I meant "medal." As PVC has its own Wikipedia article, I added a Wikilink to it in ALT0 and ALT1. That will allow readers to learn what it is without having to provide a longer explanation in the DYK. Now, all you need is a reviewer!!! David notMD (talk) 11:15, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
- Full review needed now that hook issues have been discussed. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:05, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
- This newly promoted GA is long enough and has been nominated in time. Either of the two hooks could be used, both having inline citations to reliable sources. I got a bit worried when I checked the article for copyvios and got a 79% likelihood, but it was the lengthy bravery citation that did it, and that's fine. The article is neutral and a QPQ has been done. Good to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 20:44, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
