Andrew Brown (minister)
[edit]... that Andrew Brown concluded the Acadian Expulsion was largely dictated by Boston interests, an idea later endorsed by 20th-Century historian John Bartlet Brebner?
- ALT1:... that Andrew Brown corresponded with fellow historian Jeremy Belknap, whom Brown met in Philadelphia?
- ALT2:... that Andrew Brown was strongly critical of the role of Acting Governor Charles Lawrence in the Acadian Expulsion?

- This article is new enough and long enough. Any of the three hooks could be used as all have inline citations to reliable sources. The article is neutral and I found no evidence of close paraphrasing. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:28, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- The source says "the expulsion was the work not of Lawrence alone but of Lawrence working in unison with a Council controlled by Boston interests. This notion that New England played an important part in the tragedy of 1755 was later to find brilliant expression in Brebner’s New England’s outpost." I think that the following more accurately reflects the source. Antony–22 (talk⁄contribs) 02:37, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

- Approving ALT4, and my approval of ALT1 and ALT2 still stand. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:28, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
