Planet

[edit]

Does anybody know where the usage of the word "Zog" for a planet comes from? ~ Ghelæ talkcontribs 19:35, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

At a guess, some bad 50's SF movie, but I have no idea which one it would be. The phrase has been common for years. Fan-1967 19:40, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That was a quick reply... anyway, is there a way to find out? More to the point, does anybody else know? Even more to the point, does anybody else care? ~ Ghelæ talkcontribs 19:45, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Probably not. I couldn't find anything in the first page of google results in searching for "planet zog", but if you want to slog through pages of results you might find something. If you do, post it here. Fan-1967 19:48, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yogh

[edit]

In case anyone else (like me) came here looking for the defunct Scottish letter (as used in Menzies Campbell's given name), it is actually written as "yogh". I'm not sure whether this is worth listing on the dab page itself, but I thought this might be useful information.  :-) leevclarke (talk) 23:18, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
