Man among men.
[edit]Is this the world's smartest, most handsome, talanted and visionary man? I just went back and looked at the LttP manual, it's like a blueprint for awesome. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.168.237.79 (talk) 18:05, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
Creation of the "Three-Day System"
[edit]OK, I'm not convinced we should have both of those references to confirm who made the system. One has Eiji Aonuma saying only himself and Koizumi conceived it, the other more reliable one has Aonuma saying only Shigeru Miyamoto and Koizumi conceived it. You can't use both of these references and come to a conclusion that all three conceived it as that is original research.
The most logical reference to use is the most recent one as it's directly by Nintendo and from an interview between Eiji Aonuma and Satoru Iwata (President of Nintendo). In this interview, Aonuma makes no claim that he was involved with the creation of the "Three-Day system" and instead says that both Miyamoto and Koizumi created it. The interview with GameSpy is not reliable enough compared to the one directly from Nintendo and Satoru Iwata. If Aonuma says directly to the president of Nintendo that he never created the "Three-Day System", then the man never worked on the system and the info in older GameSpy interview becomes obsolete.
You can't use both references in the article and say all three people (Aonuma, Koizumi and Miyamoto) made the "Three-Day System" as that's original research. G-Zay (talk) 21:50, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- With two sources primary in nature, one non-independent and one independent that was identified as reliable, there is not one that is "more" or "less" reliable. It was flat-out stated that Aonuma as well as Miyamoto were involved with the creation of the system. What this means for the concrete development of it is unknown: It could be that the original idea came from Miyamoto and Koizumi and that Aonuma collaborated with Koizumi on developing it, or it could mean something completely different – but that is not for us to judge. Neither of the two sources mention the word "only" even once, and neither does Aonuma say that he never created the system in the "Iwata Asks" interview – that's just you interpreting sources in a POV-pushing way again. With the amount of original research and bad user conduct you have introduced to the project up to this point by singing the praises of select people across articles (mainly Yoshiaki Koizumi, Hiroyuki Ito and Yasumi Matsuno), you are not in any position to claim the same of others. Constant reverts by a variety of other users should have told you by now that something is wrong with your edits. Prime Blue (talk) 10:45, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- I disagree with your claim. It's actually you pushing your POV on the readers. You're putting two references together that say different things and creating original research. If one reference says one thing and the other says another, then you can't put them together to say all three people made the system. That's misinformation being provided to the readers. If you want to say all three made it then you'll need a single source that confirms it because as it stands, each source has Aonuma saying something different. Either use the more recent reference or make a new section explaining that it's currently unverifiable that all three people worked on the system in the same way. You called me out for adding original research and now I'm seeing you do it.
- As for your other points, it's not that I'm intentionally doing something wrong or deliberately doing bad user conduct, but more that people like you don't like their edits reverted and only want the pages to be a certain way and say certain things. Jonathan Hardin' is just a guy I always used to argue with on GameFAQs which is why he directly monitors my contributions and reverts the ones he doesn't like. He's specifically targeting my contributions and I know this as why else would he have come to this page just to revert me for no reason? He's never edited this page before, after all. Anyway, you say there is a strict form for the info boxes but then why have other game info boxes been neglected? Go fix up the info box of every Square Enix game and then call me out. Check the info boxes for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep; it's a mess and I don't see you doing anything about it. You only monitor certain pages and make sure they are how you want them to be. That speaks far more about you than me.
- Regardless, as far as I'm concerned, what you're trying to put on this page is original research and I'll keep reverting you till you explain what those different sources mean in prose. G-Zay (talk) 11:56, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- If Aonuma stated to a reliable source that he was involved with the idea, then it is a fact. If there was an actual contradicting source here mentioning that Koizumi and Miyamoto exclusively conceived it and that Aonuma had no part in it, then I would be more open to showing even just a shred of doubt – but so far, there isn't. Since you mentioned the existence of such interviews in a post at N-Sider, it shouldn't be hard for you to provide these sources now. Otherwise, I am just led to believe you are removing this reference because you somehow think it is taking away from Koizumi's part of the pie. Prime Blue (talk) 16:16, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
The Word “Hi”
[edit]An amazing definition of “hi” is a shorter word for “hello” and is used when you meet someone new or see a friend.-written by Mr. E. Guy
