The way the entry reads is that he single handedly made Judo a sport. I think it would be worthwhile to expand on his interaction with the Judo world to bring that about. My understanding of the introduction of weight classes was a bit more of a concerted effort.Peter Rehse 09:37, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Henry Stone

I agree. This article appears rather slanted in favor of Uchida.

Here's another reference that credits Henry Stone with inventing the weight system:

The link to Henry Stone provided in the Uchida article is not correct. The link is connected to an unrelated musician of the same name.
