I think the article should be renamed to either Yafia (the common name in Hebrew), or Yaffa al-Naseriyya (or something similar), which is the common name in Arabic (Jaffa of Nazareth). Yafa is just a short unofficial name, which should not be the title of the article. -- Ynhockey(Talk)23:28, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yafa is the name on all of the maps of Israel I've seen, but I see how Yafa could be misleading because of its similarity to Yaffa or Tel Aviv-Yafo and so I agree on the name change. Since the town's inhabitants are all Arabs I say we change the name to Yaffa an-Naseriyye with Yafi'a, Yafia, Jaffa of Nazareth and perhaps Yafa with one f redirected to the article. Do you think we should also add some kind of link on the Jaffa page for Yaffa an-Naseriya? -- Al Ameer son23:56, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree - the article states that the name is either Yafi'a or Yafa al-Naseriyye, thus it should be one of the two. I would also agree with Al Ameer son that as it is an Arab locality that the Arabic name be used. Number5710:53, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have just added archive links to one external link on Yafa an-Naseriyye. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
