Warwickshire
[edit]would it be better to name Wood End, Warwickshire as "Wood End, South Warwickshire" and Wood End, Atherstone as "Wood End, North Warwickshire" to avoid confusion and use "Wood End, Warwickshire" as a disambiguation page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by MarkBegg (talk • contribs) 16:05, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- What about Wood End, Warwickshire (near Coventry) which should also be considered in this renaming as it is not currently named to the usual convention. Keith D (talk) 23:04, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- we could either name them where they are near eg Wood End, Warwickshire (near Tamworth) or which districts eg wood end, north Warwickshire Nuneaton and Bedworth Stratford-upon-Avon, the one in the north is the largest but the one near Stratford is best known the one near Coventry should be renamed because there is a suburb of Coventry called wood end and sometimes Coventry is considered Warwickshire. - Using the district names for dab is in line with what is done in other UK locations.
- Wood End, Warwickshire -> Wood End, Stratford-on-Avon - note district is without the up
- Wood End, Warwickshire (near Coventry) -> Wood End, Nuneaton and Bedworth
- Wood End, Atherstone -> Wood End, North Warwickshire
- Wood End, Warwickshire becomes a dab page or redirect to Wood End

- it sounds like the best answer to me but I will put a request on all the pages MARK BEGG (talk) 18:00, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- I have just found out that the one in nuneaton and bedworth is realy in north warwickshire MARK BEGG (talk) 19:47, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- Looks like it is in Fillongley civil parish so dab should be Wood End, Fillongley and the other in Kingsbury parish so Wood End, Kingsbury for its dab. Keith D (talk) 18:58, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think that refering to it as nr kingsbury would be good I have never heard anyone refer to it as near kingsbury but becase the postal town is atherstone I have ostern heard it, fillongley is also a word of nwbc. MARK BEGG (talk) 15:31, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
