I posted on the WP Wales [1] hoping to find two papers from Avril Rolph (Rolph, A. 2002. Not just the miners' strike: "The women's liberation movement in South Wales" and "Too friendly for feminism? The early years of the women's movement in south Wales" Llafur (2006), Volume 9, Issue 3) A member of that project advised that Rolph is the VP and Administrative Secretary of the Women's Archive of Wales. Through their website, I sent an e-mail asking if they could provide copies of the articles or contact with Rolph, as she appears to be the expert on the topic. Should anyone be able to find the articles and add information, that would be greatly appreciated. SusunW (talk) 15:28, 28 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I decided to 'be bold' and reorganise the UK section. All info has been copied over to a new page, which could also do with some reorganisation. Regions are a great way to organise the information, but I'm also thinking that specific themes would be helpful, eg. workers' rights, reproductive rights, which spanned the UK. There are also hyper-local organisations (off top of head, Southall Black Sisters, OWAAD, and the Leeds group who launched reclaim the night) who could be given more attention in separate article. Small press publishing was also a vital part of UK feminist activism, and this could be a thematic section in the new page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Women%27s_Liberation_Movement_in_the_United_Kingdom - Medievalfran (talk) 09:51, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
