Horde vs Herd
[edit]In the plot summary it is described that "...a large horde of walkers arrive...".
In the comics, there is a distinction between HERD and HORDE, with herds being the most common groups of undead encountered. The term HORDE is used to describe many thousands of the undead in a group. Given that this show is based on the comic book, and that they specifically state in S02E01 that it IS a herd, I feel this should be changed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.13.3.80 (talk) 00:47, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
- I think I recall "herd" being said in the show as well. --Another Believer (Talk) 01:39, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
GOCE copy edit, May 2012
[edit]- Far too much of the "Background" section was quotations from Hibberd's article in Entertainment Weekly, the only source used for this section, and way too much of that source was copied. In my view, this was copyright violation -- the fact that it was attributed is not sufficient excuse. I have removed almost all the quotation and provided summary instead. There is no need for an article about one episode to go to that much detail about a different episode, abandoned or not. And is that abandoned episode really the only background to the present article? --Stfg (talk) 11:37, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
Eek! Sincere apoligies for my minor edit during this process. I did not pay attention to the banner at the top of the page. --Another Believer (Talk) 14:58, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it. I got distracted by something else anyway. --Stfg (talk) 15:59, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- OK, good. --Another Believer (Talk) 16:01, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- In fact, so many other things came up today that I haven't done nearly as much on the article as I hoped. Sorry the tag sat there for so long. I've replaced it with "under construction" now. Please feel free to do whatever you want while it's there. I'll return with a new in-use tag tomorrow and hope to do better. Cheers, --Stfg (talk) 17:09, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
