Move request
[edit]- The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The current name of the article, "Vinschgau-Val Venosta", is a combination of the German name ("Vinschgau") and the Italian name ("Val Venosta"). This type of bilingual naming was found to be undesirable in a survey at Talk:Communes of South Tyrol, see also Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names)#Multiple local names. The three most plausible options are listed below, please cast your votes. Markussep 17:38, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Add "* Support" or "* Oppose" followed by an optional one-sentence explanation, then sign your opinion with ~~~~
Vinschgau
- Support. Large German speaking majority (97% according to 2001 census), slight preference for the German name in English usage. Markussep 17:38, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Vinschgau-Val Venosta (current name)
