Udio song licence
[edit]What is the licence of the tracks generated on Udio? Does the licence allow to share, modify and sell the tracks? I have read the terms of service but it's not clear. When I will get the answer, I will complete the article. Ftiercel (talk) 17:03, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- In general, purely AI-generated content (without significant human creative input) cannot be protected by a copyright, and thus cannot be licensed and can be use by anyone. There may be special cases though, e.g. if the generated song infringes existing copyright. I guess it is the same for musics generated by Udio, but I'm no legal expert.
