Hello Yellow Evan, I will be reviewing this article for GA. Hopefully I should finish sometime today.--12george1 (talk) 20:18, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
- "August 15 and was upgrade4d into a tropical storm the next day." - Um, typo? :P
- "On August 22, Thad accelerated northward, striking eastern Japan the next day just before weakening to its typhoon" - This doesn't make sense. How can could Thad have weakened to a typhoon (grammar error too, btw).
- "the cyclone transitioned into an extratropical cyclone on August 23." - Then why does the infobox say August 25?
- ET does not mean dissipated :P YE Pacific Hurricane 20:58, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, scratch that--12george1 (talk) 21:13, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

- "As such, 1115,00 homeowners were without power during the height of the storm." - You should replace "As such" with something like "Additionally", because a house doesn't need to be demolished or flooded in order to lose electricity. Btw, the comma in the number is in the wrong place (should be 111,500).
- Fixed both. YE Pacific Hurricane 20:58, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- "As Moreover, 111,500 homeowners" - This doesn't work either. Just remove "As".--12george1 (talk) 21:13, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- Whoops, fixed. YE Pacific Hurricane 21:21, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

- Fixed both. YE Pacific Hurricane 20:58, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- "Roughly 27,000 people were left homeless because of Thad." - Move this to after the second sentence of this paragraph
- Moved it to third, actually. YE Pacific Hurricane 20:58, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- Alright, that works too--12george1 (talk) 21:13, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

- More stuff later--12george1 (talk) 20:18, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
- "northward, striking eastern Japan the next day just" - Back up a little bit. Wikilink "striking" to Landfall (meteorology)
- "several hundred miles west of the Philippines in mid-August 1981" - Did it form over Vietnam? :P I think you meant east of the Philippines.
- So use to the EPAC. YE Pacific Hurricane 21:21, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- "the cyclone was local within a" - It was local? :P
- "and a minimum pressure of 955 mbar" - Wikilink barometric pressure
- "According to the JMA, Thad would maintain its peak wind speed until August 21, when Thad weakened slightly." - Don't use Thad twice in the same sentence. Maybe you should replace the first "Thad" with "the system"/"the cyclone"/"the storm".
- Do you know the publication date of reference #12? If not, simply add |date=1981.
- I do, just forgot to include it. YE Pacific Hurricane 21:21, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, now I am done.--12george1 (talk) 21:13, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- Good job, Yellow Evan. I am now going to pass this article and list it as a Good Article. Congratulations, --12george1 (talk) 03:11, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
