- "Tropical Storm Georgette was a short-lived tropical storm that struck the Baja California Sur before dissipating over Northern Mexico in September 2010." - Could you be a little more specific here on the date, besides "September 2010"?
- "Georgette originated from an area of disturbed weather on September 20" - Again, could you be a little more specific? Did it come from a tropical wave that traveled across the Atlantic, or what?
- Why? It's only the lead. I don't normally mention origins in the lead unless something major happens (i.e. Paul 82).YE Pacific Hurricane 19:43, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- "Tropical Storm Georgette was a short-lived tropical storm that struck the Baja California Sur before dissipating over Northern Mexico in September 2010." - Could you be a little more specific here on the date, besides "September 2010"?
- "The next day, the system was upgraded into a tropical Storm a short distance south of Baja California Sur." - "Storm" shouldn't be capitalized. Also, could you link tropical storm?
- "Although officials noted the threat for heavy rainfall across northwest Mexico and Baja California, damage was minimal and no one was killed." - Change the wording at the end up a little...perhaps to "damage was minimal and no fatalities were reported"
- The part about Hurricane Karl and the wave is confusing,..could you fix that?
- I gave it a copyedit. YE Pacific Hurricane 19:43, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- "Although the disturbance was initially disorganized, the NHC gave this system a moderate (40%) chance of tropical cyclogenesis during the next two days since wind shear was forecasted to decrease slightly" - The sentence sounds a bit sketchy, could you revise it a bit?
- Split into two. YE Pacific Hurricane 19:43, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- "Gradual development took place as convection consolidated around the center of circulation" - When and where?
Overall, the article is pretty good. If you address the problems above, I'll pass it. TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk) 19:03, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Long time no see. Thanks for the review, TA13. Atomic7732 (talk · contribs) helped me address a few. YE Pacific Hurricane
- "Tropical Storm Georgette was a short-lived tropical storm that struck the Baja California Sur before dissipating over Northern Mexico in September 2010." - This sentence still sounds a bit sketchy...How about, "Tropical Storm Georgette was a short-lived tropical storm that struck the Baja California Sur before dissipating over Northern Mexico on Insert dissipation date here." Other than that, the article is ready to go TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk) 20:21, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Why? This makes the thesis very long. YE Pacific Hurricane 20:34, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for fixing all of these....Pass/Fail: PASS TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk) 21:58, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Areas Affected
[edit]Should New Mexico not be included considering there was a death and flooding that occurred there? I added it. Cthomau5 (talk) 20:52, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
