GA Review

[edit]
This review is transcluded from Talk:Tropical Storm Andres (1997)/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

A few comments:

  • What happened after the secondary center developed? Did the two centers exist concurrently, or did the initial LLC dissipate?
  • Initially, the storm was expected to continue moving toward the coast. - This sentence seems a bit out-of-place and confusing. The storm did move toward the coast.
  • In El Salvador and Nicaragua, the precipitation led to power outages - This seems a bit odd; surely the precipitation itself didn't cause outages?
  • ...affecting a total of 1,259 people. - This seems like a rather vague statistic. How do you define "affected", and why such a specific number?

Otherwise a good article. I'll put the article on-hold for now, but the above issues should be relatively easy to resolve. –Juliancolton | Talk 15:30, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, got all of of that. It was a Spanish, and the translator said something along the lines of "people affected by the storm", but the original word "damnificado" is more the people displaced by the storm, AKA the homeless number we see in US storms. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 16:36, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
