A layman would be hard pressed to understand what a Tristimulus Colorimeter does or how it does it. Further no easy explanation is given as to why a handheld colorimeter is not as good as a full blown spectrophotometer weighing over 50kg. (The article waffles on about Metamerism but that is not helpful to anyone who doesn't already know the answer.)
