Explain

The target submarine may be hiding in a different layer to the one that the array is in, so you fly the streamer down to a different layer. It is also handy if there is a ship that could cut the streamer, you fly the streamer down underneath the ship. The ones I worked on had wings every 300m to allow you to do this.
