Two deletions from modern era section
[edit]I've deleted two items from the modern era list. The first is "The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH is founded by the merger of two previous organisations". This item, while an important moment in the development of the watch-making industry, was not a time measurement invention, so it belongs in a different list. The second was the Swatch, with its claim of being the first fashion watch. There was no reference to support this, and it seems a very thin claim. Watches had been sold by jewellers as ornamental dress-items for a very long time before the Swatch turned up. Also, strictly, it's not really an invention concerning time-measurement. NMR
[edit]Could someone explain why Nuclear Magnetic Resonance is in this list of technological inventions relating to time-keeping? I'm sure there's a very good reason, but it's not here, and it's not on the NMR article either, which may leave a lot of readers (including me) rather befuddled.
