[edit]

Hello to all my fellow contributors. I have been actively studying, researching and editing this article/topic for more than a month now and I am still learning more as I go. My article has been reviewed by AFC committee and it was successfully published onto mainspace. I have used ten journal articles as my sources (which are the highest caliber of sources for citation) and about five government/seminar related resources. I am trying to increase the quality of this article and I would like this article to be helpful to those who are studying aviation, counter-terrorism strategy, or aviation industry in general. Any feedback, comments, and constructive criticism/advice are welcomed. Thank you very much for your attention. Hseong2 (talk) 03:58, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Two editors. Thanks for volunteering to edit this article: user:Kpark252 and user:Yiningou22. I will be editing your articles soon. Hseong2 (talk) 19:59, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work. Well formatted and visual references (table and chart) to the information made the article attractive and easier to understand. Well referenced with peer-review journals and link to multiple articles that are related is good. Strong explanation on each sections. I edited some grammar and words errors in the article for consistency and flow of the article — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kpark252 (talkcontribs) 21:13, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Clear structure. Minor correction from me to make sentence more understandable. Use language properly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yiningou22 (talkcontribs) 21:23, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

your references need some thought

[edit]

Ideally please add links to online versions of the references. This is not compulsory, but we write for ordinary readers who like the instant gratification of being able to see what is written in the reference with ease. Fiddle Faddle 00:35, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Timtrent: Hello. I tried to add most of the journal articles' websites. Some journals were obtained from Western Libraries and these journals are not accessible on the web without login information to Western Libraries. For this article, I tried to follow the guidelines as much as possible. Thanks for the notification. Hseong2 (talk) 01:47, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Never worry if something is behind a subscription service or paywall. We give the references as best we can anyway. Thank you for fleshing them out. IT make s substantial difference to article quality. Fiddle Faddle 09:07, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

So what is TEM?

[edit]

The first sentence of the article says it's a concept. The second says it's a tool. The third says it includes issues – can a concept, or a tool, contain issues? Then the whole second paragraph says that TEM is a model.

I suspect that the article was created by someone who is too close to the subject, and doesn't realise that many readers will start by having no idea what TEM is, and want it explained. Maproom (talk) 15:51, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Maproom:Thank you for your valuable constructive feedback. I have incorporated your feedback to the changes I made. I will always keep in mind that I need to be careful of who is reading the article: everybody.Hseong2 (talk) 19:39, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Self consistency

[edit]

This article as a whole is confusing to read. You need to stand back from it and read it as someone knowing nothing about the topic. I suggest you visit WP:GA and have a look at articles in similar topic areas.

It's about TEM (but see the para above) then is about LOSA. Then there is some training. Please look at the structure. Look at the flow. I think you need to go back to the drawing board here, and to redesign the piece. We did not do you any favours by accepting this a little sooner than it was ready. Your housecourse leader ought to be able to guide you on this. Fiddle Faddle 16:07, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Timtrent: Thank you for the constructive feedback. I will try to organize the structure as soon as possible. I will consult my professor too. Hseong2 (talk) 22:18, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ironically, this seems to be a case of The curse of expertise listed in the See also section. BMJ-pdx (talk) 17:29, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What is UAS?

[edit]

What does the acronym UAS in the TEM model image mean? It seems not to be defined anywhere. BMJ-pdx (talk) 17:25, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
