Thomas and the Equestrian Railway
[edit]The "Direct-To-Video" specials section suggests that in 2020 there is to be a feature film released called Thomas and the Equestrian Railway, but can find no evidence anywhere else on the web that such a film is being planned. Can any sources confirm this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.132.1.132 (talk) 23:11, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
I have no idea where this information came from - ideas for such a special never existed. If they did, the special may only have been a mere working title for an unnamed project, especially since there have been no new movies since 2018! Delboy12 (talk) 20:50, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
Links for Addition ref
[edit]The following links may be able to help expand this page with proper references.
I made this edit, removing overly detailed, fanpov and tone tags which had been applied to this article on August 2013, and also corrected a capitalization error (Thomas and friends to Thomas and Friends). As stated in my edit summary, "I struggle to see any issues apart from refimprove" with this article, it needs expansion and is not overly detailed, and I can't see any massive tone/fanpov issues. The capitalization issue also seemed clearly erroneous to me and I thought my fix was warranted. However Crazyseiko (talk · contribs) undid my edit with no explanation, and I believe his/her change to be unwarranted. Hence, I have followed Bold, Revert, Discuss - so I'm trying to initiate a discussion here. Pinging @Crazyseiko:. Acather96 (click here to contact me) 19:06, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
- Evening, the edit you made was not done correctly, thus table was not shown correctly, I did not have to have a good look to see how to solve it, hence I just reverted the edit. I have now edited it again and have sorted the table. --Crazyseiko (talk) 19:59, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
- Its also nice to see that Thomas pages finally getting overhauled and improved, its taken nearly a year since I highlight the issues. --Crazyseiko (talk) 20:03, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
Thanks @Crazyseiko: - I'm trying to revive WikiProject Thomas and do alot of work on Thomas articles (my current project is trying to get Thomas & Friends to GA status but it's going to take a lot of work, and it would be great if you could give your opinion here, and maybe even help/join the project? Thanks for your comments! :) Acather96 (click here to contact me) 20:33, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
Help needed!
[edit]Hi, I’m very sorry about this. I tried editing the Fat Controller’s column so that it would read that Kerry Shale voiced him from 2009 to 2015, and the preview article read exactly what it was meant to say, but when I publish the page it now appears that the commercialization article is in the same column as the actors’ names. I assure you, I did not intend to do this deliberately. Can someone please fix this? I can’t figure out how to do so myself. Delboy12 (talk) 20:48, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
Would you consider The Railway Series apart of the Thomas & Friends franchise?
[edit]I generally don't know at this point. Thomasfan1000 (talk) 17:39, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
Details in summary
[edit]A disproportionate amount of detail in the summary is superfluous information related to "fan works" that most normal people would know nothing about. Would it be best to remove these details, to create a more reasonable summary? It may be worthwhile to do this so that the page encompasses proper encyclopedic knowledge, in the sense of the word. "Thomas & Friends: The Movie"?
[edit]Why does the new Marc Foster Thomas movie have a title and a year of release? It's on the Fandom Thomas Wiki too, so where is this information from? SuperWikiBrother (talk) 18:23, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
"Popularity with autistic audience" suggestion
[edit]We might wanna add the fact that Mattel straight up said they "don't want to get involved with [the autism community]": https://www.reddit.com/r/autism/comments/10y2n0k/for_those_who_do_not_know_mattel_created_an/ SuperWikiBrother (talk) 18:20, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
