Confirmation

I wrote to HiT Entertainment about The Great Discovery and I recieved a letter back with pictures of Stanley and other characters in the special. It shall feature: Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Emily, Stanley, Jack and the Pack and Salty (in cameo). There will also be songs and interactive learning segments. Stanley is also painted silver with a silver smokebox. I have the pictures and would love to share them with you all but I am not allowed to put them on the internet. Plot

I think how Great Waterton is discovered is probably because Thomas and James are having a race and Thomas gets derailed and finds GW. It won't be like TFC says: "Thomas, go and find some forgotten place on Sodor like a good engine" It must be an accident on how Thomas

discovers it. Your views, please.

Second Thomas Movie on the Big Screen?

I was reading through TV.com's Thomas blog and it gave a link to a website that said the Great Discovery is gonna be shown on the big screen Saturday July 5 of this year! I don't have the link for the UK trailer but look at this. [2]I think it's a revision of the US cover. It's doesn't look like the UK cover because it would have a green triangle (usually) with it's rating. What do you think? I'm pretty sure that it is the US cover resigned. I like both covers. Maybe the 2nd cover we have seen is like a dust cover for the DVD. I have no clue but maybe. I believe it's actually improper to cite YouTube. I remember that being an issue when Season 10 first aired and people put added the first few episodes citing YouTube uploads of the broadcasts. Starkiller (talk) 00:06, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

I know some are against it, but, we're actually allowed to cite Youtube, and fansites. Only if a Youtube video is real, and confirms something (IE:A trailer for Sonic Unleashed showing gameplay footage of Rouge the Bat.) Fan sites can only be cited if they're prominent and consistently provide reliable information. YouTube is based on user-generated content and can't be considered as reliable as a prominent fansite. Furthermore, it's unwise to suggest that an article cite copyrighted footage that has been bootlegged onto the internet. Alternative reference source

Assuming you can haven't been stunned by the preceding signatures...

...(honestly, just because you can change your signature doesn't mean that it's a good idea, especially if you have no artistic flair!)

While checking Season 13 details I found that the Pierce Brosnan ref was also available as a PDF, which is rather easier on the eye than the webpage: http://www.hitnewsonline.com/images/docs/PB_Narrator_Thomas.pdf

This would be used in place of the current ref, as the text is (should be) identical. The 'Notes to editors' section at the bottom may be of additional use in referencing this article.
